i have the same problem , i have try everything and its very strange to see on log that softcam on usr/keys its ok but

this mean that oscam_emu is send but where?
1) on var/keys/SoftCam.Key
2- on etc/tuxbox/config/oscam/SoftCam.Key
and when the key expirit which mean tha AU dont work which of the softcams make this?

i dont know what is sow bad if same one have make it work dont put the files or izi steps how to work ?

i have try all the oscams and the last from joe ( joe if i put the ok keys its work sow the softcam is ok) the AU how the hell work m8?
and on Status on webif the oscam_emu ,Sofcam , linuxsatsupport for the EMM mast to be activ (most of the time i try its only ON)? only on 4.8E sis i fix it on activ (oscam_emu and linuxsatsupport not the Softcam)and i was wotching then the EMM pack going up but nothing to change on Softcam .

find it , the problam its here >/etc/tuxbox/config/softcam.key
whene you download from the reciver the oscam is going that but with ftp if you going there /etc/tuxbox/config/ you find and the oscam and after you see the Softcam .
sow the right is
/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam/Softcam.Key
delite the softcam from usr/keys
2 days take to fix this .
ok lets going to have morre fun to fix the AU
btw: on tanberg the EMM work , on PV not yet for me with the last oscam (with the oscam from joe dont work tanberg only pv with manual key)
if i fix it i m going to public for all users the AU on pv.

What does it mean?

I am testing autoroll for PowerVu with Oscam Emu.

I am getting the following lines in Live Log

Code: 
EMM: reader 0E00 match since emmpid has no provid -> SEND!
EMM: reader_caid 0000 != emmpid caid 4749 -> SKIP!

What does it mean?

I don't see any new entries in SoftCam.Keys file :confused:

The CAT show simulcrypt,more than one CA system in that trasponder.
CA ID 4749 is skipped because oscam is not able to decrypt it.
This is no error


You must format softcam.key file as oscam need it to be
Use a group ID for ECM keys,and SAME group ID for EMM keys.
Oscam will only update if it finds ECM keys with that group ID,if they do not exist,you must create them

I have been hunting for EMM key update messages for 3 days already on 3960 MHz Horizontal on Asiasat 7 @ 105.5° Е

But the count of EMM messages in Oscam Web Interface remains zero :confused:

Is there anything wrong with my setup or shall I wait for longer time?

the emm on softcam mast to be on the first place to work not the keys first .

What version of Oscam are you using?

Are you using the patched Oscam Emu version or just the regular Oscam?

I am testing autoroll for PowerVu with Oscam Emu.

And yes, I have formatted the keys in SoftCam.Key according to the requirements for JoeUser's new Oscam Emu version (added the group IDs in front of every key). I have 2 groups of keys.

I have commented out the working ECM key for one of the channels and replaced it with a dummy key 00000000000000

I have included 2 known EMM keys for this package (published elsewhere on this Forum).

I tuned my STB receiver to this channel and was waiting for auto roll to occur.

I have been waiting for 5 days already.

But I don't see any EMM messages except the broadcast CAT table message.

Am I doing something wrong?

Are readers set to active? is AU set to on?
You have any EMM messgae in log?
Are you using 64 for log level?

I would like to know if any member is having problems opening AFN 9e with the PowerVu autoroll. It wouldn't work but I am able to decode MTN Worldwide on NSS 20w and Tandberg 7e. I use a V8 Golden box with latest firmware.

DES and CSA encryption

I have a similar problem on my VU+ clone receiver.

Difference between CSA and DES encryption in PowerVu CAS

Even though the PowerVu ECM keys in SoftCam.Sys are all good and working (verified with another STB receiver) Oscam Emu will successfully decrypt only those PowerVu channels on my VU+ clone that are using CSA encryption.

On PowerVu channels using DES encryption the key is found by Oscam Emu, and there are no errors in the log, but the screen remains black or there is garbage on the screen.

At the same time another cheap STB receiver with closed source firmware is able to decrypt both CSA and DES encrypted PowerVu channels. And this receiver does not belong to Dreambox family as far as I can understand.

Or did the operator stop transmitting EMM messages after having received the confirmation from all the subscribers that the previous ECM key update reached all the subscribers?
