How to get PowerVu AutoRoll working with Oscam and Dreambox

Good morning you cant oscam arm because oscam not support emu
You must use oscam emu arm
It does support and auto working

i am almost tapped out here as i cant get autoupdate to work. I am starting to believe that my config is fine but it just doesnt autoroll

Make sure you have this done in order to autoroll

Check in oscam webif if the user is set to autoroll,
oscam_emu and linuxsatsupport must be ACTIVE.

In config/users make sure linuxsatsupport AU = 1
In config/dvbapi make ure AU is enabled for the user
In config/user/oscam-emu set EMMCACHE = 2,2,2,0
In config/global make sure you have EMM LOG enabled,with initial debug level of 64,so you can check emm logging.
Set also a EMM log directory.

This should be enough to get you started.
Once you do this,make sure you have EMM keys in your softcam file.You need to specify which channel will autoroll in the line,if you want it to autoroll in every channel,you must add a line for every channel.
Once you do all this,tune the channel,go to LIVE LOG and expect to roll keys,can take several minutes.

The best way for you is to follow this points,which by no means are the best there are,is just the way is working for me,some steps might not be needed,and i might just forget something.

Check the live log,a line similar to this one should show up

This mean is ready to receive the EMM for the UA listed in your emm key line in softcam.
It will ONLY autoroll in the channel specified,not in any other in the same trasponder

srvid = SID (Service ID) of channel in hex with leading zeros to make 4 hex digits.
nb = key number (00/01)
key = ecm key

Example groupid=0x1, sid=0x1234, keys 00 and 01:

For channels with the same srvid the correct key will be detected automatically, but each key needs a unique groupid.

Multiple UA keys are allowed for each group and each UA will update ALL ecm keys in the group.

NOTE: in order to work, the ecm keys must be "seeded" in the file for each SID you want to update since the UA has no information about sids.
So to add a key that is unknown, enter a dummy key to get updated, for example:

P 00010004 01 00000000000000000
Also note: Duplicate powervu keys are no longer allowed (unnecessary since duplicate SIDs should now have a unique group ID.)
So, if there are any duplicates, only the last key in the file will be used.
This also means that as new keys are found and appended to the file, they will automatically replace earlier keys.
