Groupid:
Where: groupid = any 4 hex digits signifying unique group for all channels using the same keys.
(Leading zeros not necessarry, but makes viewing the file easier...)
So whatever you want it to be as long as it is unique in your file. Two groups can not have the same groupid, obviously because then they would be in the same group. ;)

You could use something like:

P 1766nnnn 00 xxxxxxx
or
P 066Ennnn 00 xxxxxxx

P 2068nnnn 00 yyyyyyy
or
P 685Ennnn 00 yyyyyyy

if it helps you to remember...

Hi joeuser
I'm using a standalone OSEmu on x86 linux machine.
When I zap on powervu channels on my receiver and then turn back to 'normal' channels, the first channel doesn't work and I get a message 'no free tuner'. However, when I zap to another 'normal' channel there is no error and they work fine afterwards. But, this doesn't work if I zap to a powervu channel in the channel list which doesn't work - its parameters changed or whatever. I can flick through 'normal' channels as much as I want but they won't work unless I restart enigma2.

What box and which image are you using? How many tuners do you have?

It make take a second after you stop the stream on the box for osemu to disconnect from the stream and free the tuner being used.

If the stream is bad, osemu will try a few times to reconnect before giving up, which will also keep the tuner on the box busy. Can you post log from osemu when this happens?

forget oscam-emu, it is very buggy, I also had the problem when watching any DES channel, then CSA channels would not open anymore without Dreambox restart

Xtrend ET6000, latest openpli 4.0 with all updates.
It's got only 1 tuner.
Here is OSEmu log:

Then returned to a 'normal' channels and got

and 'no free tuner!' on the box. Zapped to another channel and all is fine, back to business.
Then I zapped to a powervu channel with wrong parameters and got
Code:
[Emu] warning: stream client 0 non-full buffer from stream source
and tuner can no longer be used for 'normal' channels, only for powervu ones. There is still this error in the log
Code:
[Emu] warning: stream client 0 non-full buffer from stream source
but powervu channels work.

Same problem with VU+DUO2 and OpenPli. Zapping from a PVu channel that doesn't work causes the tuner to lock up and a restart is need to free it up again.

So it is what I wrote, there is a lag between when you change channels for osemu to recognize the client (the box) has disconnected, and then in turn disconnect from the server (the box again.) So the box is still trying to stream the powervu channel and cannot tune another channel. Really not much can be done about that.

The other issue is difficult. Osemu makes a connection, but is not getting a real stream, but is receiving something from the box. It will not disconnect until the client disconnects. This is done in the case of a bad sat signal causing disruptions - otherwise any hiccup in the signal would cause the stream to stop. If after some time the box still does not respond, then it is a problem with the box not recognizing that osemu has closed the connection. Again, not much I can do about that...

That is a problem with the Dreambox drivers, not oscam...
But people are looking at a workaround to force the box back o CSA mode...

BTW, these last posts are really off-topic, so if a mod is watching, can you move all posts starting with #102 to a new thread?

I tried the joe user version it would open some P****vu channels but not others, I guess my softcam.key file is not compatible, can anyone pm me theirs that works with joe user version so I can try?

In the meantime i am trying the most recent Oscam-emu from the 11th January, I'll see if au kicks in here.

no its not working I think, either my softcam.key format for the autoroll is wrong, do I need to create a unique emm log directory, its currently var/log

Code:
P 0310 xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; EMM Key Valid

This is my be*f~ir autoroll key format in softcam.key is this right?

Found now, will leave on channel overnight and see what happens

Hello Rich8

Did you solve this, I have the very same issue I do get the message in LiveLogs so i am close.

Code:
2016/02/02 23:45:20 61277F66 c (reader) oscam_emu [emu] EMM: reader 0E00 match since emmpid has no provid -> SEND!

But its not understanding the emm keys, even though I've set it in the format said on page 1.

If you use my latest version, the file format has changed. Look a few posts back:http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=2036642650&postcount=98

You need to use the groupid for the UA keys...

You have to make softcam key using the format required
P 0000 UAUAUAUA KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
0000 = CHANNEL SID you must use the channel number
UAUAUAUA = unique address
KKK.... = key

But if you start reading from the first post in this thread you shouldn't have problems

Thanks seniors for answering. To make a key file for auto update i have to select Au kys from this list.
Au
62 fd c0 / 00 B0 00 7E 00 1B 23
62 fd d0 / 11 11 3F 76 0C B3 C7
62 fd d2 / 13 11 2D 00 5F 05 77

63 86 32 / 24 C4 DA 62 00 73 FF
63 87 3d / 36 6A 00 B4 4C 87 5C

but which key should i select? In above file, there are 3 sets before stroke and 7 after it.But the given key syntax, there are space for 4 sets.
I already use
PowerVU
Key 00= 00 5E 00 9C 00 43 B7
key01= C3 67 E0 F8 12 D1 DE

these keys and watch channels, but i have to update at least weekly.I need to get these autoroll or auto update. I am using DM800se.
Thanks.

You can use ANY key from that list.
If they are current working keys, any of them will autoroll.
