no need to install BL74
You can install unmodified recent drivers to your dreambox by dcc successfully but you will end with hardware and tuner failure,so you have to replace tuner or card reader driver files to avoid these problems

there is a check to see if you have the latest bootloader before the drivers are installed, please try again and see.
from dcc-tools-ipkg package window it will say it has installed but if you look at the telnet window in dcc you will see the error that it has not installed.
please try again and check the telnet window.

Ok you have to upgrade ss#75 with DCC first and after upgrade drivers module without restarting enigma2 ,after upgrading new modules plug power of and with null modem cable with dreamup you can change ss# which your box has.This is the way how to upgrade leatest drivers .Even if you want to install barryallen 5.0.12 non modified after upgrding drivers without restarting enigme2 you can install with telnet comands barryallen 5.0.12 and after installing barryallen sucesfully plug the power of and replace ss#75 with your SS# with dreamup and nullmodem cable.If you have follow all this steps you can replace tuner and cardreader driver and you have your box full updated.

Why you don't want to try upgrading drivers following THIS way?

2. rename to drivers.ipk
3. open DCC (FTP) and copy drivers.ipk to /tmp
4. go to DCC telnet and install drivers by typing ipkg install /tmp/drivers.ipk -nodeps
5. replace tuner and cardreader drivers (pack jams01) - remember attributes 644!
6. reboot DM800

i was using nabilo bh 11 patched for ss69.
i can install the updated drivers but only after upgrading to ss74.
anyway, thanks to you and way75 for posting your tutorial.

is it a major hassle using a clone Dm800, was thinking of getting one but not sure now?

Do you need to order one with bootloader 72, should I specify Nabilosat or Gemini preloaded?

Dont wanna spend my life flashing using DCC etc.

My friend, you have 9 posts and 8 of them are like "this doesn't work", "this other doesn't work".
I can't read a single post with improvement proposal.
What are you looking for?

Many of us, sharing their own test, can say drivers improvement on clones is great (remote, just an example). And like drivers... any other improvement on these clones is due to people who shares and proposes, not to "critic-only" people.

When we say drivers work, we intend drivers give benefit to clone. Maybe something can work better, something bad... so next time will be better.

Please, mate, next time you write on clones... be positive and if you want... help community to enhance performace of clones with your support and experiences.

nabilo bh v0.12 1:00 boot time!!!!!!!!!!

hi guys i a have a weired problem with this bh v0.12,
first i installed it in multi boot in my clone bl 70, the boot time was approcsimatly 1:30h from power on till set up and when it finally booted n set it took about 40 mn to make a hard rest after insatalling ccam info, and so on the waiting time is boringly horible so i decided to opt for this gude to see what happend, flashed the image and the boot back as stated in here and it seems that is working (booting ) i meen, no error but its been a about over 30 mn that its stuck in loading defaults and im sure its gona go another hour to boot, dose any one know why is this happening to me or a way to go around it? this is the first time this happend i got this box with n bhv0.9 istalled and went to n bh g2 v0.11 modified after finding out it was a clone bl70, all was fine accept for the skin on the bl v0.11 that suks, can any one provide some help with problem, i allso had no problem with geminy and new enigma images eccept that they are not as good as n bh, i have this boxe hooked with a smsung 250gb internal n a 7gb usb stick for ex flash if this can help, befor i finish i want to tank u for the great help n support u provide here it is in fact the only forum that actually treat nearly every matter regarding the this box as far as my exxperience gows and tank u very much in advence

Barry allen is interesting tool and does many works ,images can not do like backup and many other things.
This is unacceptable behavior from Nabilo team and they want to prevent dreambox users from using other images.
this behavior like the one in the past when microsoft prevented using other operating systems in compination with windows in same pc

i agree with u on this, its lowds a rubish from nabilo, but i have to say according to my experince with other images the nabilo bh versions are extreemly good without competition but still whats the point in to privatising a freeware.
sure we just have to wait n see what will hapend, if i had the experience in cracking this i promiss u that ill do it but im only good at cracking windows.

It appears you have done this correctly. Basically flash the image of your choice after this is complete flash the correct bootloader of your clone and then reboot, after the reboot you need to transfer the latest drivers and then the hacked files.
