As Ferret said,Barry allen patched 5.0.15 never worked with me with original Nabilo .12 or one patched by Jams01.
The best image for installing patched Barry allen 5.0.15 is latest lean ozoon and you can put Nabilo 12 in multiboot.

Any one wants to use multiboot and latest Barry allen should use this best typical configuration tell now(latest patched lean ozoon in flash and patched Barry allen 5.0.15)

No need to install latest drivers because thery are included in patched ozoon

Yes

You can only uppdate with Nabilo in flash !!!
Barry allen up to 4.9.8 version
after that barry allen find no driver in kernell and won't install!!!!!
and no uppdate !!!
This only if you have Nabilo 0.12 in flash !!!!!


so i leave it with 498 and Nabilo in flash works very well !!!
so far understood no big deal from 4.9,8 version to the 5.15 odiern !!!

I'll try the version you mention on a fresh install, at the moment that version will not install for me.

If this works then the only logical explanation would be the older versions of barry allen included the usb drivers and patch it.

No NEED to flash new nabilo 0.12 in flash !!!!!!!!

(very important !!!! if you have fail install barry allen go in /usr/lib/ipkg and take status file and delete line with barry allen )

just erase all barry allen file saved and back up picon from usb stick and any back up you save on usb!!!!!!!!!!
so go in nabilo manager device umount device
then format device
then umount again !!!!!!!!!!!!! (very important)


so open DCC
download second stage 74r (no 75r) ipkg packeage !!! (ipkg)
you can get from here

send the packeage in /tmp/ and telenet and install (still with DCC) !!!!

so do the same send in /tmp/ barry allen 4.9.8 (no over this version, Nabilo have no implement kernell driver for after 4.9.8) and install

now Barry allen will restart enigma2 (do not worry for secondstage)

then if you want (i did it) change attribute to dev/scsi folder to 444 and folder after !!! Do not know for sure if help for straigth installation !!:)

then still with DCC remove second stage loader 74r and go in
usr/lib/ipkg status file and erase line second stage loader 74 !!

then send your clone second stage (mine is 72) still with DCC send in /tmp/ then telenet and install

then close DCC and RE-OPEN !!! go in barry allen menu in DCC and use install button and send an image (i send Gemini 4.4)
enigma2 will restart just wait

(then if you want you can see in dreambox menu barry hallen that the image is there !! no need , sure is there :) )

NOW AT LIST AND FOR SURE LAST YOU RESTART DREAMBOX !!!

and BARRY ALLEN WILL BE THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!


i bet work for evrybody !!!
no need for pached barry allen !!!!

Hi mate

I have now managed to get barry allen instaled the 4.9.8 version! But i could not update to later version 5.0.15 as it still detects the image kernal has no usb drivers.

4.9.8 installs becuase it includes the usb drivers.

The trick now is to get 5.0.15.

The only way is :
to include the driver in a Barry allen 5.0.15 , to make a special version !!!
for sure is possible but is a hell of jobb! is worth it????

BE VERY CAREFULL to people that install B.A in a clone
in B.A menu do not uppdate or even ceck for latest driver for image !!!
(THEY CAN DO MUCH DAMAGE TO CLONE if you know waht i mean!!!!!!!!!! (JUST MY OPINION)

It Happen to me i push for ceck list (just ceck button not uppdate button) and BA did ceck an also did uppdate my flash image seconstage and driver-module !!!
was no way to stop or change back
DID use NULL-MODEM cable and re-send 72 secondstage no need for reflash image !!! 1 minutes operation

To install at the prompt

Now type

cd /

Now type

ipkg install /tmp/*.ipk

The * will install any ipk package you have in the tmp folder.

Can anyone confirm that this method of "patchin" orginal images on clones still works?
I have tried to install iCVS-Image-dm800-20101210234429.nfi, before reboot install ssl76C_20100909.nfi.
Reboot and hardware error, cant find tuner.
Do uptate do latest drivers.
replace with the two old .ko files, and tha box will not boot anymore, gets stuck at /flash/vmlinux.gz ?
What to do?

The protection against clone in the images vary from time to time and any new protection pattern needs different approach,what you said was valid at the time of the post only now the approach to modifiy the images is more complicated so better to wait for sim201 to release new boot to get all functions of images

HI guys,
Can someone tell me why i can't install version of Barryallen up to 4.698 on my dm800 clone ss72 with Blackhole 12 in flash ?
Even with the Mfaraj procedure, i can't find the Barryallen plugin in Plugins panel...
Barryallen up to v5 install perfectly, but after restarting and reinstalling image, i don't have the plugin in plugin Panel

Any idea ?

nabilo black hole 12 has kernel 1.5 so you should install barry allen for this kernel and the vesion of barry allen compatible with this kernel should be less than 5.0.37 but before this version the barry allen has check procedure for clone so you should use patched versions of barry allen before 5.0.35
latest versions of barry allen have no checking code for clone but are incompatible with lernel 1.5 images like blackhole 12 so it will not appear in plugins browser

but, but, i have also tried with your version '5.08 patched' and '5.0.11 patched'. Installation gone well, i reboot the box after installation ending, and i re-upload the image to the box (BH12) and i can see the plugin but only in 'Remove plugin panel'

When using a image from usb the ssl of that image does not matter as it will use the ssl of the image you have running in the flash.

blah, used that image i posted above,

not get the dreaded "error no CA"


I take it we shouldn't use any images from the link in the opening post in this thread? as they must be for original dm800
