Complete guide for installation of latest images,latest drivers and latest Barry allen on dm800 clones

Hi mate

You have to use the bootloader your 800 has because it is a clone. If you use images that were not packed with the 72 bootloader your clone has then it lock your 800 and it wont boot.

The guide at the start of this thread describes a work around to run images that were made with bootloaders after 72.

You other option if you want a easy life is to flash image that were made with the 72 bootloader your clone has. Or load a image that is already patched see here

Sorry my English. i do not understand so I ask some questions :
For example I choice firmware that has patched for Bl72 so it necessary chose file "bootloader 72.nfi" again ?

Hi mate

You did not mention the firmware was a patched version.

If this is the case all you do is load the firmware no need to install bootloader or driver as it is already patched.

I am a newbe. So the best way to update firmware now. Following MR Ferret i use firmware patched for bl72 i do not need choice bl72.nfi,if firmware from original. firmware i must choice bl72 then replace 2 files. Is that right ? Please show me what to do now.

Use this image patched for BL70 in flash and immediatly before reboot load bl72.nfi
OoZooN-CVS-lean-dm800-20091017_BL70_patched by jams01
then install latest barry allen 5.0.15 and install any image to multiboot
this is current typical configuration for your bootloader

because my english not good so i can show step by step please check my mistake:
option 1( follow MR Ferre):
- boot DM and update over brower file Pli jade 3.nfi for BL 72 Following link http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=142424 then reboot update driver file dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm800-20091014-r0_dm800.ipk and replace 2 file. finish
Option 2: (following MR mfaraj57)

- boot DM800 then chose file OoZooN-CVS-lean-dm800-20091017_BL70_patched by jams01 update then not reboot chose BL72.nfi then Configure OoZooN image and Install Barryallen 5.0.15 patched reboot after that brower file Pli jade 3.nfi then reboot update driver file dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm800-20091014-r0_dm800.ipk and replace 2 file

Make life easy for yourself and flash a image with bl72 this is all you have to do nothing else.

I have downloaded it. Iask you step by step i will do it:
- reboot DM and hold power button, on screen opear "Stop" and IP. use firefox enter IP. chose file "NabiloBlackHole-11-BL72-dreamboxclones.co.cc.nfi" click "Flash" after run 100% complet I reboot DM. That all?
Do I need install driver for DM? for example file"dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm800-20091014-r0_dm800.ipk". please tell me!

No you do not need to install any drivers after you flash!

The image you flashed is patched with hacked drivers for clones the best ones to have.

I'm new or actually i never did post before !!
so HELLO to YOU

Well i had no problem so far i run flash image (nabilo 0.12 on clone sec stage 72 )

My problem start when i try to install barryallen for clone 5.0.15 on Nabilo (i did not know was gone be a problem with Nabilo image in flash) !!
it is installed but i do not have in menu (apper) and i do not manage to remove !!! if i do by telenet
ipkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen

then it say no packeage removed nothing to be done !!!

How can i remove it ????
probably i should resend secondstage 74 or 75 , then look if apper in the menu and then do some change in some file (i do not know where ), for then resend secondstage 72 ???

Nedd help for solve this !!!

Recent patched version of Barry allen only installed without problems while lean ozoon in flash

Finally after 2 day of trying barryallen and one week of fresh owner dm 800 clone (i must say works very beautifull this clone, they chinese relly did a great jobb)

Well i manage to have nabilio 0.12 in flash and install barry allenn !!!!
(DM 800HD PVR clone HARDISK SATA 320 intern and USB 520 mb
Nabilo 0.12 in flash second stage 72r )

after several attempt and and several distribusion of Barry A. like you all, have experience no barry allen after restart dreambox in menu
i was giving up to have barry a. with nabilo 0.12 in flash !

But then i did this solution
My clone is 72 stage loader
so i did install Barry Allen (version 4.8.14 by GUTEMINE) the same way like you have describe with DCC (copy in TMP and then Telenet )
All went very smoth without any error , barry hallen even check for secondstage loder and said ok !!!!!!!! (that's why version 4.8.14)

Then i did some tougth !!
for make it short i just ftp where media/ba install the driver and just change the attribute 444 (just read)
the folder DEV/SCSI/HOST0/BUS0/TARGET0/LUN0/PART1 (change attribute just SCSI folder and the folder after)
i change the attribute to 444 (just read)

Then i install Gemini4.4 with DCC in multiboot (offcourse) use Barry allen menu in DCC for install the image)
and then i restart

AND FYNALLY GOT BARRYALLEN MENU AFTER RESTART DFREAMBOX !!!!
(did the restart 3 time to be sure at it stay there!!and b.a was there)

PS Tomarrow i try to uppdate barry allen from barry allen menu

for me almost everything works ok but i have a small problem : i like nabilo images nad they start to suport DVB subtitles from nabilo 0.11 with BL73 .My clone is BL72 and i cant see the subtitles after i replace the drivers , can anybody help with this?

I tried to install BA 5.0.15 patched with DCC and telnet, with a nabilo O.12 in flash. it gave me the same error as lorept twice. but then i tried again, it worked. Now i have Ba in the menu .
I cannot understand how it worked, but it works !!!!

Can you tell me after a reboot was Barry Allen still in the plugin menu and do you have the red barry allen boot screen to pick which image to boot at startup.

Ive tried this and am unable to replicate your results not working for me.
