Gosh they come up with the most insane
the cats will like it for a while and then wont bother with it anymore
btw. the toys they always like, are little, look alike mice made out
of material in different colors, they play with them a long time until
they disappear under a couch .

There is nothing on TV that I will like so I will see some of the movies/
tv series that I downloaded

For heaven´s sake! You didn´t think I really meant that people should buy an iPad for their cat, did you, renee?
I only meant to post a funny movieclip with a cute cat and a curious dog and much too loud electronic music.
Of course, you´re right, renee, that cats will lose interest in an iPad - game very soon, because they can never be really successful in their hunt. A mouselike toy is always better, because they have a real trophy between their paws to play with.
My sister´s cats like a kind of race track with a bowl inside, which they can push to start rolling.

You´re right to some degree with tv program, too. Luckily I can watch some newer movies, more interesting documentaries, etc. on SKY. The broadcasts on "Free TV" are all old - there´s nothing that I haven´t seen, yet.

I have enough new blurays, though (12 movies = birthday & christmas gifts) to watch, in case of need.

Yesterday evening I ate a lot of sweets (to get rid of them - want to go on with my cholesterol diet after cristmas and don´t want to have sweets lying around then). Always when I eat so much sugar, I sleep like narcotized - didn´t want to get out of cosy bed, today. I´m still a bit drowsy.
So I wish Merry Christmas to you all once more and be lazy for the rest of the day.

I just let my disgust out, nowadays people are too lazy to play with
their animals and buy these useless toys
The only time I pig out on sweets, especially chocolate, is at christmas
, I love marzipan and whiskey chocolate that they sell here,
this year I only bought 4 boxes and they are gone already
Ah yes, I like egg liquor also and I learned how to improve the
flavor by adding whipped cream to it - its a calorie bomb but delicious

But I must ban you for not leaving a single box of whiskey chocolate for me.

Yesterday was the first day I resumed my diet (potatoes, zucchini & fat reduced mincemeat for lunch / no sweets) and now I have to read here about all the things I have to abstain from:mecry: - what a catastrophe! I´m getting hungry.

Unieno are you still enjoying holiday season? Have to ban you for staying absent for six days.

Yes,I enjoyed my Holiday very much.
I spent some of my time in the mall,shopping around,eating dinner,etc.

Now waiting to countdown for new year and remind me
that I am going to be older one more year...
and at the same time it'll lower my time one more year....

@unieno: How good, you´re still alive and not frozen, yet (-15[FONT=Times New Roman, serif] °[/FONT]C outside, where I live).

Perhaps I´ll eat s.th. delicious tomorrow on new year´s eve. Today I´ll have potatoes, sauerkraut (very few calories) and smoked turkey chop (1% fat). Luckily I even like it.

Maybe tomorrow I´ll sin and have pasta with either pesto or with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese or with cheese and garlic or as a kind of "aglio e olio" with parmesan cheese (parmiggiano or grana padano) on top. I´m getting hungry while I´m writing.

Hope my cat and all other animals will survive new year´s eve´s uproar outside (fireworks). I´m glad that for tomorrow night the weather forecast announces milder temperatures (-1 to -2 [FONT=Times New Roman, serif] °[/FONT]C). If my half wild cat panics and runs away from her little shelter home outside at midnight, she otherwise might freeze somewhere to death with these low temperatures.

I used to spend my time walking outside with temperature -1 °C when I was in New York city.
It was so miserable,I could freeze to death because of this kind of weather.:thum:

Although I´m not the one who likes summer heat (makes me dizzy - low blood pressure), I don´t like to freeze either. I like mild winter or springtime weather with sun but as well ... Rain In may ...

Sorry that I didnt come in but I was sick, from the 1st
of January til now, I think its over now - still am coughing

Too confused yesterday (thinking all the time "why" and "who"?), so that I forgot to say THANK YOU SU for VIP status , what I do herewith.

Even forgot to answer your question, renee - yes I talked to #1 and wished him a great year. Sadly his year began with having to send his mother to hospital (very bad condition because of pneumonia). Will have to call him again (probably today) to get to know if his mother is feeling better again.

Searched for some special Stevie Wonder songs to say THX for VIP status with his music. The original songs exist on youtube, but sadly I can´t watch them in my country. (From his album "The Secret Life Of Plants" - composed for a never released movie with the same film title - in my opinion his best album ever, but only known by a few. Of course "Hotter than July" and many others are nice, too.)

So I can only post one original live performance by Stevie Wonder with poor sound quality (he rarely or nearly never performed songs from "The Secret Life Of Plants" on stage) and some cover versions.

Me wishing a great year to people does not always have the wanted effect.
Friend #1 called me yesterday to tell me that a few hours ago his mother had died (pneumonia + additional deseases). Although he very often gets on my nerves, I feel really sorry for him, because more or less he doesn´t seem to be born lucky.

Despite of this tragic event I hope, that all of us shall see many happy, sunny days this year:thum:.
(On purpose I watched out not to "wish" us all a great year - didn´t work for #1 - so I only "hoped" us to have one.)

Hope, too, I will get used to two new essential medicaments that I take since the 4th of January (replacement for four medicaments that I took for over 13 years). Still have to live with some unplesant adverse reactions of which I hope, they will go away after a while of usage.
So today I´ve got s.th. (not s.o.) to ban - side effects of my new pills.

However, after having read the package insert, I should be glad to only have got the unwanted effects that occured and not to have got the other ones possible.

And I´m glad (hopefully most of us can be) not to have got surprised by s.th. like this:
