I know you probably have tried these things, but just in case:-
Take the card out and gently clean the terminals. With the card out, turn off the receiver, wait 1 minute the re-apply power. Now try the card.

Thanks! I gave a call to the technician. He will be here after he closes his service shop, late tonight. It seems like the whole Hotbird is down for me, all the channels...Astra is pretty fine. Something with my LNB, i guess...we' ll see.

I noticed there is a program scedule of ThemeX's webpage. It seems every film have 1,5 hour of time. Because movies are appr. 50min to 70 min long. this means something like 20 minutes break between each movie. As Marlbrook mentioned, this kind of a behauviour make big savings for this company, but why do They still advertise "no fta sessions between films"? This nonstop jingle is as bad as any fta-sessions. I'm happy i only have 5 months left to suffer. Then this company can kiss my rse !

Now the 8 ThemeX channels are on 11470.00V - 27500 5/6, and SOS Premium card opens now 4 channels:
* themex-SOS1-Hardcore
* themex-SOS2-Groups
* themex-SOS3-Fetish
* themex-SOS4-18

I wonder how long it will take till they will change everything again! :eek: :p

NO CHANNELS WILL CLEAR

www.themex.tv say new frequency is 11471 mhz, Polar V, FEC 5/6, S/R 27500.
As of today 02 April 2010 none of the channels will clear and remain scrambled in the South West UK.
Anyone still able to receive the ThemeX channels OK please?

after rescan i have 8 new channels but 0 works

4 x theme x sos 1 to 4

4 x theme x bizard ; inter ; peep ; trans x

but not descramble

no info on site

no new transponder because i have scan new one all the same

well I am not surprised that they changed things again ... but I did really not think it would happen within a few hours only! :eek: :(

NO SIGNAL NOW

I have rescanned. No ThemeX channels are coming up. Looks like they have stopped transmitting completely. Wonder if it is temporary? Not hopeful after all the other disasters since they took over.
The 'explanation/apology' they were transmitting about previous transponders was interesting.
I wonder why they did not bother to get someone who really knew English to read it first? I am no linguist but if I was going to put up such an important notice in English, I would make sure it was correct.
All academic now of course, unless they ever transmit again.
I suppose they followed the laws of gravity re their customer service..... went from good, to fair, to poor, to none.
