Mgcamd recordings don't work for me

I have a dilemma. I have found Mgcamd 1.35 to be more stable than Incubuscamd 0.97 and more compatible with Cccam 2.14. However on any DGS type image on a 9000HD Cuberevo(I have latest NLB) I notice recordings of scrambled programs only works for about 7 seconds. I can record unscrambled programs without a problem. If I use Incubuscamd I can again record scrambled recordings. Does anyone else have this problem? Can anyone provide a solution to the dilemma?

I am using Sifteam 11694 and can record up to two channels at the same time and watch the 3rd one ?

Mgcamd has three files called newcamd/newcamd1/newcamd2 and this allows you to record and watch at the same time, however I have two tuners inside my 9k...

1) do you have two tuners in your IPBox ?
2) what mgcamd are u using ?
3) can you see those 3 files newcamd.list / newcamd1.list and newcamd2.list in var/keys ?

1) running a 910 1 x dvb s2 tuner

Sorry m8 you lost ma a bit. Do you have a problem with the recordings or are you trying to set your box as a client to cccam ?

Sorry m8 you lost ma a bit. Do you have a problem with the recordings or are you trying to set your box as a client to cccam ?

Sorry for confusion...
The answer is BOTH.
I am trying to do both Teps ie record scrambled stuff with mgcamd (which stops working after 7 seconds) I am simply using mgcamd as a client (NOT alongside newcamd). I don't otherwise have a problem with mgcamd. It works if I record unscrambled channel. It also works as a cam.

I think you should download mgcamd+newcas. chmod them to 755 and see if that helps with your recordnigs.

If you want your mgcam to work as a client you will have to edit your cccamd.list (var/keys) and make sure your mgconfig is also edited properly.

Hi Guys, I am running Mgcamd 1.35 on the latest Sifteam image and have no issues on playback of recordings from encrypted channels and can watch another encrypted channel while the recording takes place. So if I can help resolve this by providing specific details let me know

put this file on etc/ipkg
and you can download extra files

ok I had this problem also and did this to fix it, change the G: to 33 in your mg_cfg

forget where I read about this, may have been in the readme, but this fixed the recording problems for me, hope this helps.

what image you using? try the latest PGI-0.6 and install mgcamd again, it is working very well for me
