My main computer is I7 (Can't recall processor), 32 GB memory, GTX 980Ti. 1000w power supply for extreme overclocking. Too many fans to count. water cooling coming soon.

Your main PC sounds like the dogs b*! :) But if you transfer its super-duper GFX card to your lesser PC, it will make not one iota difference to the lesser PC's capability to smoothly decode 422.

4:2:2 4k feeds are ok with this configuration?

Perfect but it is overkill for 4.2.2.

I would say that a decent computer 3.2GHZ or above whether dual processor. quad or more will be fine.

A good graphics card is a must for 4K.

no chance man, try with gtx 960, gtx 1060 and i5 4690 3.90 GHZ 4:2:2 4k feed la liga 11304H 34000V slow motion. All other 4k channels are ok. Why you say that you decode 4:2:2 4k feeds fluently?

Auto BISS Server Has been OFFLINE a lot this weekend
i just tried it and its still not working ,
seems to crash a lot at weekends mostly when required and way too often .
The TBS 5927 Pro seems to me to be the very best possible option even a sat box regardless of specs would likely fail on quite a few 4K UHD Feeds again depends on Signal and Spec a lot , but with TBS 5927 at least you have the opportunity to record a Crypt8 and have a very high possibility of key being found and instant viewing of that 4K Feed provided you have good signal , PC Specs are good without the need to always depend on a Server that is hosted on a slow Dial-up internet connection and crashes frequently .
just my honest opinion : )

crypt8

do the other tbs cards not record the crypt8 ts streams? noticed only the tbs 5927 and tbs 6903 support CCM, VCM, ACM and Multi Input Stream support whereas it doesn't mention this on other card specifications tabs

All tuners, TBS or otherwise, will record .ts suitable for searching Crypt8's.

Crypt8's, as the name suggests, are the initial 8-byte block of an encrypted ts payload packet. Those that are sent most often are logged & hopefully will prove to be the cyphertext corresponding to plaintext all 00's or FF's.

Certain satellite receivers have this facility.
Not all keys are found but many are.
Nobody seems to know exactly how it works or if they do, they are not saying.
