biss auto update does not working on starsat 2000 hyper with version 2.10 g-share ok by electrikdz

update software your using very,very old version 2.10 ,
V2.84 in the post above is most recent and you then will find
biss auto update working perfectly fine : ))

So i guess there is no point to update anything
hopefully someone will put it back Online again soon ??

It might be the new CW were not setup in the server.

If you really need the content then maybe you meed to get yourself a V1 V2 RTB setup and good GPU to get CW.

This is what I did and I now can also scan for others when they post new crypt8 in the encryption thread. Of course it depends on how much you have to spend on a top level system.

receiver recommendations

hi can someone recommend a receiver that is uptodate that has all qualities? eg h.265 hevc, 4:2:2,latest chipset. having read through the thread it seems certain receivers are temperamental eg having to reload firmware to clear biss.

There are no boxes for sale for everyday use that can do 4.2.2 although the old AZbox I think it was called did show 4.2.2

Perhaps you can a get a second hand one. Don't know if they can view HD. You need to research.

Biss au works on all boxes that have access to the Biss update server but it will not clear 4.2.2 as I told you in a PM.

It will find the key but NOT clear it.

Biss update server will find BISS KEY for you it will not Show a clear picture if its 4.2.2 with starsat 2000 hyper
its a good box but not good enuff to view 4:2:2 feeds and AZ Box is ruled out as it only works for MPEG 2 - 4:2:2 AND NOT MPEG 4 - 4:2:2 which most feeds are now a days .

TBS Qbox 5927 Pro is the best option for 4:2:2
and you can RECORD A Crypt8 and then d/load chain files
to find keys for yourself or post the Crypt8 and someone will pm you the key : )

I thought all PC Cards with the right software will decode 4.2.2?

i found this but dont think it is a qbox. it says qbox is for cam and card interfaces. shame they dont do a hdmi out on it unless the dvd dream software goes full screen i imagine
