Now lets say you do not want to use a PC. Most of People have HDMI TVs so a new let say wintel TV Box with WIN8/WIN7 will cost you about $115 - $125 USD. Around $200 for a new package.

And this is proven open shared technology and do not depend on a Special Designed Tuner controlled by who knows. Well this Is how I think, but if you already have the DM800 and the cost of new tuner is fair I guess many will consider.

or DM800se you can buy the DM800se with the new tuner for around
400 usd some time after May 15/2015.

I do not have DM800.

But to thoes that have $100 will be an apropiate price, since is been leak tha it may come preloaded with with a bunch of keys from NA Arch 40W-135W I heard!

andy I now have everything working, I had to rescan each power vu transponder on each sat again with AltDVB. working perfect on win7 x64.
Never thought I would see this day.

It seems that HBO 4.0W is not working anymore.

Also, I noticed that PowerVU decoding is hardware dependent. I've tried absolutely same configuration with two different DVB cards, and one of them could NEVER reproduce audio on AFN Family/Pulse, while on other DVB card that same audio works without problem. Maybe it's BDA driver dependent, because problem occured on newer DVB card probably not fully suported by (old) AltDVB.

Do you know if there's anything on 58W? I'm in North America and have my twinhan card and now I just downloaded everything for ALTDVB(I used mytheatre in the past with emunation).

Maybe not much interest here for C-Band PV channels on extreme western sats.

I can receive many of the C-Band PV channels on 40.5W here in the UK - It would be great to have the 3716R MGM channels open, but I haven't found any PV keyfile anywhere yet.

working in DVBViewer 5.3.2

setting for that

I prefer to use softcas plugin

then delate the two file

1-FFDecsa.dll
2- MakroCSA.dll
from DVBViewer folder


3-replace the old Cas.dll with the new one fo PowerVU in same path
DVBViewer


copy the vplug to MDplugin folder , copy powervu.ini in the DVBViewer folder and set the location for Cas.dll file

don't forget to set you DEFAULT_PROV=

to channel that you want to watch for me I have just hotbid

for that I set to 14

that's all

Me dvbviewer worked with powervu and special csa.dll only with md-api!!!
Not with dvb-api.

can anyone confirm this powerVU channels work on TBS 5922SE USB Qbox ??

it works fine i have tested 100% on my TBS 5980 USB Qbox .
but today i ordered a TBS 5922SE USB Qbox as a back up and i wonder if this works ok aswell ??
