its quite obvious you havent as the firmware, its on page one, patched for both 150 and 250 boxs, if you care to read it, posted by Jakitaki states EMU and Sharing in the release note and each one after that is an improvement or a fix to this firmware, as posted by jakitaki

Just to add, both firmwares do the same thing!

How much are eye tests in your country

probably less than yours, and we see perfectly, which you can not say, because there is no post where it says cccam version using both the 150 and 250.

Ariva (250 Combo) is working well and without problems from Spain (SAT + DVB+T [called TDT -> Television Digital Terrestre in Spain])

People should ask their cccam service providers if they have problems.... they should know how to config a working server!?

Ariva is giving many problems in cccam, there are continuous freezing, so i was wondering which is the version that uses cccam 150.
just a simple question that some say it is answered in previous post is not.

My apologies, it doesnt mention the ccam version in the previous threads and yes you are correct, the firmware for both 250 and 150 causes problems for CCAM, it glitchs badly, have tested this on various boxs and different lines, same result, glitching in cycles of 2 to 3 mins, a few posts back I posted my findings, the box works fine on a NLINE, but I have found that some boxs have probs on this also, going from FTA chans to Encrpyted chans, its like the box stops requesting ECMS, sorry about the previous posts, I thought u were asking if the firmware works on CCAM, lost in translation!!

fruitfresh, I am using newcamd, there is no glitching, but there is an issue with the box clearing encrypted chans after watching FTA, a few others reported this, have you seen this before?

ok, nothing happens.
is difficult sometimes contact a translator like google.
cccam problems make it impossible for these ariva my purchase.

In the firmware zip there is a PDF for an internal web http configurator... I have tryed but don't work. In information->7777 i have a httpserver on ( and not modificable) ...

1 you have to connect the receiver-router
2 go to the network settings, and write down the IP address
3 IP write on a piece of
4 activate the menu ****> server ****> information ****> 77777
5 HttpSerwer ****> ON
6 in your browser, type the IP of the receiver

Firmware issue??

I have being using the A250Combo_20120926_1.20B1_patch since it came out here by JAKITAKI, (Thanks JAKITAKI).

One issue - It keeps dimming the menu lights and the channel lights to a lower level both on screen and on the box.

Once you click any button on the remote control the lights for the on-screen display and on the box seem to go back to full power (Full brightness).

The same thing is happening on two boxes I have so its not the box and didn't happen on the previous version of the sotware, I've done a factory reset after installing the software to see if this would make a change but no difference.

Otherwise the software is fine, It connects ok but its just this issue of the lights dimming on the on-screen display and on the front of the box until you press a button on the remote control,

Anyone else experience anything like this?
Any ideas?

Flash Issue

Hi folks, new member here who would appreciate some help. I managed to bring up the dreaded ASH on the 250 Combo through a patch update. Anyway I've followed all the instruction here to try and bring this box back but I'm having no luck. I've tried Eprom loaders from different sources and the various original firmware starting at V1.18B6 and now V1.20B1.

The message I get on the Loader is either "Synchronizing STBs please reset" and it just hangs or "initialize STB sdram is failed" and please go back to try again. The one thing I'm uncertain of is when to turn on the receiver at the back? Any advice or assistance would be most appreciated.

I am thinking to Buy the combo 150 and i am totally newbie in this ..

I wondered if after buying this receptor i just have to upgrade the original software For this one ..conect it by internet and i could have Spanish tdt and sat HD channels...

I have READ about to have a channel list...
After upgrade this software and to do the automatic scan..will it not make one automatic channel list...???

I wondered if it is better to Buy now the Ferguson 150 or 250 taking into account the future support of theese 2 receivers..

I mean i wouldn't Buy now the 150 if in a few months i don't have more support and 250 yes ..i would prefer to spend a little bit more in the 250 if i really know has more support..because..really..150 is enought..

What do you think..??

Ferguson Ariva 150 test.
After this A150Combo_20120926_V1.20B1_patch I find these problem :
1 - When using EPG and press Pag+ or Pag- there's a problem graphic. The yellow bar that divide the list of program, is dragged wrongly in another page.
2 - In standby with time clock option "on", sometimes the time change itself... example time correct is 21.30 and every 2/3 second the time change own 21.30 - 10.30 - 21.30 - 10.30 ect...

Another web problem :
- YouPorn --> Error network server
- DailyMotion --> I watch list of videos, but all video during play give me this message : "The video isn't in server".

p.s. : In the remote controller the buttons Pag+ and Pag- are very uncomfortable. Is possible to change the buttons configurations... I want used "Channel+ and Channel-" like "Pag+ and Pag-" and the ArrowDown and ArrowUp (in center circle buttons) like "Channel+ and Channel-". For me... this is very confortable to scroll channel lists.
