I thought though that old version of the channel list will not work with the 1.20B1 - I thought one had to be made specifically for it? So which channel list will work with the 1.20B1 please?

Guys,

Have loaded the new firmware onto the Ariva 250, now for the good.

Youtube, youporn, grooveshark etc all work fine, RSS feed works fine, weather chan dont work,

now for the bad, using a NLINE on this box is a nightmare, same as before, when you watch a FTA chan and then after 5 to 10 mins, flick over to a encrypted chan, the box wont descramble the chan, you either have to go to network setting and turn DHCP on or off to kick the box to start requesting ECMS into clearing or to turn the box on and off, its like the box after sitting idle on a FTA chan and then flicked onto a pay chan, the box stops requesting ECMS and you have to do the above, this glitch was in the last version 1.19 and also the 1.18............a pain in the ass

Just to add to this, I have tried the box using magcmd also on V1.20, same thing, everything works fine, but it still wont kick in when going from a FTA chan to an ecrypted chan after approx to 10 mins of the box being on the FTA chan. I am gonna try CCAM line this evening and will report back

(channel list)..menu > tools > update with USB > Userdb > Start
(firmware + channel list)..menu > tools > update with USB > allcode + bootloader > Start

hi there!! i have just bought a Ferguson 250combo and i cant figure out how to save the channel list that i have created from the blind scan that i performed to the usb stick so that i can always reload it in case of an upgrade. thanks!

Use the option DUMP in the USB-Upgrade menu - this will backup the whole firmware (incl. settings and channels) on the USB stick.

To install/restore just the channels - chose userdb and select the Backup (DumpFile.abs)

Guys - Just of note, on the 1.20 firmware for the Ariva, the weather chan no longer works, some of the youporn features are giving a "no network" issue again, just thought I would share

to view the parameters of the channel you are watching, press the Edit
