Question About Possible F1 Feeds?
Hi, firstly thanks for all the great information. I have been reading these forums for a while now, but never thought to register.
If I can ask a question - what sats are normally used for the F1 world feed? My guess is for the far away races (Australia/Asia) they would use a couple of uplinks/downlinks to get the signal to Europe.
European races would use maybe 10E, and North American races maybe one of the Intelsat sats 30W or further over.
Any info would be very gratefully received

NBC uses 15W for feeds (and occ 12.5W, 10E)
NHL also 15W
So maybe not always as far over as 30W hope someone helps.

Followed by a F1 news feed active at 0.8W/1W.
