Hi
I decided to write this mini help for other Azbox Elite and HD premium users
After some weeks of testing i run into troubles about DOM - size and no memory and a slow or stuck Azbox with the latest 4.2 firmware.
Problem is the image is to big and to heavy for an azbox to use it as full glory mediabox
If you want to use it as a simple Sat box and use a NFS share with Enhanced movies center you can remove alot firmware and drivers that are not needed. All wireless related stuff is removed too !!
In my case i removed all unused things to speedup the box, i left only
* Sat tuner
* Basic Networking
* EPG
* Movie center
* Telnet
* vsftpd
So with above stuff i can watch SAT , i can record it , i can use a NFS share and i can playback.
To test it out your self open a telnet session and execute next command:
Just copy above code into your telnet and press enter
After this reboot your blazing fast box and you wil have 30MB ram left and 26 MB DOM !! Yay congrats you did it. ( Yes even the Ocram SHD picons fit into root )
My advice is to do this from a fresh new install !
What you could do next is boot into recovery mode and set the overclock , use the next command
Above command is stable and fast for me !
Good luck
** Your box is l33t now after a reboot
