i can load new firmware no problem but not a bin
file. what do i need to do.

if the file is a firmware, the file has to be renamed to patch.bin

on my az hd premium + from thumb drive.
do i need a loder file or what i am lost.

no need for any loader, just put the file in the usb memory stick and restart your receiver

i can do a firmware upgrade.
i have loaded firmware 0.9.4931
but the stand alone bin file is a no go.

perhaps we can help you, if you tell us what you mean by standalone bin file

if you want to upload emus,keys,or any other stuff use an ftp app to upload to your azbox.

No matter how mysterious you want to make it,it is clear you don't know what you want to do.
Most people is trying to help you to upgrade,which is the way the box reads a bin file from the usb stick,but what you want to do is totally different than this.
It will never work on such a way.
If your intention is to install an emu (and do not matter which emu),you better read the guides posted in this section,because it is obvious you need to read a lot yet to understand how this box work (openxcas/emus)
I'm sure you do not even know if the bin you try to install is compiled for this box (meaning matching architecture)
And all this comes to be because you are not telling EXACTLY what the bin is about
You can probably install it with 2 clicks on the remote from the online servers,but nobody can guess what is it.
