Hi Azimuth,How do you record something on a Viark 4K?
I can record by pressing the button on the remote but how do you select something from the EPG and record that?
Helpful info my friend.Hi Azimuth,
Yes, you can record in other ways.
1. Using your remote go to the channel you want to record from.
2. Now press the EPG button on your remote. This will bring up an overlayed schedule of programs for today, tomorrow, etc.
3. Press the right arrow button and move across to the schedule list of programs.
4. Highlight the one you want to record.
5. Press the RED button on the remote. It corresponds to the "Timer Active" indicator at the bottom of the screen.
6. This will then bring up recording screen. Scroll up or down until you are on the RECORD item.
7. Change the RECORD item setting from "No" to "Yes".
8. To save it, press the CONFIRM/OK button. This will turn the program a RED colour in the EPG listings.
9. Then press exit button to come out and your program has been saved in the Timer listings.
10. If you want to check all of your planned Timer Recordings simply press the "Timer" button on the remote to check.
There you go, hope it works well for you. The Viark is an excellent machine, specifically the Sat 4K.
Let us know how you get on.
