Delete keys worked before and has always been the answer in the past but the 2 last firmwares this issue has risen and biss ok update message displayed with incorrect key found.fails to often for me now i don't depend on viark sat hd for biss which is sad.my starsat receivers and gt combo are more reliable for biss.

My viark sat works fine the few times I use it. Strange the 4k struggles

Just to confirm that there are issues with autobiss in PT1.18, Viark Sat 4K.
Some times it works ok, other times not. And deleting all keys is not a full solution.
Just noted an additional strange behavior that I mentioned: once the correct key is found, it can be lost changing channel and returning back to the previous one, or simply changing the audio track.
So any fix and firmware update would be very appreciated.

New fw are welcome....."Youtube" app of the viark are not fully useable anymore.
Many videos after you click play,causes the box to reboot

Same thing on GT Media V8UHD. I saw that last week when I tested some feeds on 7°E: sime feeds work, some fails, it takes a little bit to search keys, and if they are available, after you change the channels and came back, the box will search again. So, the team must work at biss server...


I post this comment just in case if someone will ask about this specific box.

STBEditor is very poor, no copy/cut/paste feature, no Find feature, very slow and bad working in general.... and so on.
So a different and better editor would be very appreciated for our good Viark boxes. Maybe someone found a better solution?
For example, importing settings from enigma2? What do you think?

There is no solution no editor works well.

No option to convert e2 list which would be fantastic.

I have purchased a Viark Sat 4k box (waiting on it to arrive).
I used to use a Vu+ Duo2 enigma2.
As a noob to the Viark I am wondering what I will need to do when I receive the box?
Also if there is any that knows of a reseller that could PM me would be great.

Few moments ago when I was zapping on 39°E I found some channels of Tring TV package green. Not all, only some on freq 10890 H 30000. Same channels are green on Apollo and Mars (if anyone has doubts and think are different servers, this is the prove that both are same, only name is changed).

Maybe this is the next "good news" .

That means nothing at all Tring Pack is Secure and sadly it will not be broken .
Every few days there is "good news" . it is called a Marketing Advert to keep something relevant
where in reality nothing new has been added for months and S/W updates have totally halted since last year .

The backend server updates are possible without client box updates mate, a message came out today saying that the server was up to 1.45 on some IKS boxes - I rebooted and the server version has changed from 1.43 to 1.44 on mine so guess it will change again soon.

Do the Viarks show the server version as they may do the same after a reboot if so

Yes they do.
Menu>Net&Games>Server and hit the left key (providing ip/URL is highlighted) and it should show you the server config for 39 with the relevant server information.

My old Sat Integral 1432 has received a software update last week. After update, it was the same 1.43 server, but in release note was wrote "Server Update". Now I have verified and I have 1.45 on him.

Viark Sat 4k remains Sleeping with Zero updates issued since November Last Year
Same goes for GT Media Zero Support issued since November Last Year and very likely remains a tin box with zero support .
Lets see if Viark can awaken with some sort of updates soon .....

Does everythng I need.
Could do with a improved epg but apart from that works great.
