Viark Forever boxes

Finally, this morning I was forced to reset due to a new crash that occurred as I switched the box on. The usual boot looping.
So I loaded the official firmware via USB named update.bin, then factory reset, and then I was able to load 1.18 from the USB drive without additional crashes.
Then reset again, and finally I loaded my channel list.
Hoping this solved the problem, we will see.
However, biss key loosing in tennis feed is there again.
The receiver finds the key, so autobiss perfectly works, but as soon as I change channel or just audio track the key is lost.
I don't understand why the key does not appear in the list in key menu?
Entering in the key menu, the last key in the list would be the actual one with transponder parameters, so a manual key update would be possible. But this feed does not appear.... I don't know why. Thanks.

I did a message recently, but has been deleted
I guess wrongly, with other messages done by a usual spammer already banned
So I repeat part of it as test.

I have not a viark, but problematic among boxes could be similar.
In last firmwares have been done many changes to adapt new forever to boxes.
It's possible there is any conflict with setting done with older firmware.
You shoud do a factory reset and only enter the tennis feed.
So do your test and see, if it lose the cw again.

If it works, you should remake your setting by zero

Something strange happened today whilst watching City V Liverpool on my Viark Sat 4K.

At the 55th minute, my box serial number appeared top centre of the screen in very small text.
It was there for approximately 45 seconds.
In the nearly four years I have had this box, I have never seen this happen before.
I wonder what was happening?

its a Glitch or Freeze common to happen during Big EPL Games

2 days ago my serial number appeared while watching movie on Sky Cinema

Not one freeze during the match for me. Just the appearance of my serial number in very small, barely readable text.
Totally different from other times, your serial number is shown.

Yes general, all recivers last update Apollo 142 and 143
Serial with transparent back. And also when the channel stops
. To know the serial number of recivers that are not used for private viewing, i.e. for rebroadcasting IPTV, the serial number of the reciver must be stopped and disabled permanently.

The box serial number also appeared on the screen of my dual last night watching the leeds game. No issues though and to be fair i did not know it was my number i thought it was the card number that they were using in the server.

serial number appeared on my starsat there now watching epl on tnt from kick off.my starsat has had pt 1.43 since mid oct and never had this before so must been added in my last firmware update for my starsat last week.

Going to be a lot of IPTV streamer boxes banned.

Makes me laugh as the IPTV guys still like to claim the stream they supply are better than the Forever boxes some have been using

its kinda hard to disagree with that i feel after all its a huge massive money driven business
and they want to at least protect what is theirs so to speak ...Broadcasters do this all the time albeit without displaying s/n obviously
but its much the exact same scenario no doubt .
Anyhow as long as my s/n is working that is fine by me ...my Starsat200HD Hyper has had this S/N on screen for a very long time anyhow so i pass no heed to that msg no more : )

The strange biss key loosing does continue today with tennis feed.
I really do not understand the reason. Changing channel or just changing the audio track means that the key is immediately lost, and the box must rescan (and find it again in less than two minutes). Any idea? Thanks.

Finally I solved the problem. Cleaning up the key menu was enough.
After I deleted all the keys, the box found the tennis key in less than one minute and did not lost anymore.
I suspect that the same key was just stored in the menu assigned to a different frequency, but obviously I could not check more than 400 keys!
Once the key menu was empty, no problem.

Anyone could suggest a good receiver similar to the Viark Sat 4K?
I have one, very happy with it, but I would need another and I do not want to buy the same box.
GTMedia is not a good solution for me I'm afraid..... It needs a "vertical" installation (no enough room in my rack) and it uses Mars instead of FS.
Also, I need a receiver not so difficult to find in Europe like Viark.
Any idea? Thanks.

Buy the non 4k viark, cheaper and as there's not much 4k about makes sense.

but those are pretty hard to find anywhere now ,
i think your best option would be the Virak Sat 1080p Box
as its cheap and does exactly what you need : )
