Thanks @manic01 , @barney115 , @skella99 for responding with your experiences.Reboot router etc
I will try the reboot of the router, unplug and reset all the connections to see if that resolves
the glitching and issues we are having...

...sorry for the question (which I'm sure is dumb) - which one should be installed first on a motorized system?28 East and Euro sat list for the Viark 4k by Hedges2016
Just the one list, euro should include all sats....sorry for the question (which I'm sure is dumb) - which one should be installed first on a motorized system?
And, does the idiots guide need any updating or should the sequence still be followed on a NEW Viark 4K Sat?
Visit the site below and follow the instructions. Just enter your first part of the
serial number into the link and then the 2nd

Not with the Sat or 4k noHas anyone ever had issues where the viark doesn't move their motor?
I didn't ever have this issue with my motor and the gigablue box but happens intermittently with the viark - only way around it usually is to rescan the sat e.g. 16e and it eventually moves
Hmm happening plenty with my 4k blah! Not with the Sat or 4k no
Start looking for other issues like weak PSU long run of Coax etc. The PSU is weak in comparison to your Gigablue to start with.Hmm happening plenty with my 4k blah!

Yes i use a 3 amp PSU from a Dreambox on mine.Have you upgraded your PSU on the viark mate?
YES Always has been possible i do it all the time .I'm making very good progress here - many, many thanks to all the thread contributors - of course I've still lots to learn about the Viark 4K Sat receiver! (9 years with the TM, 1 day with the Viark 4K Sat)
a couple of questions if I may:
is it possible to enter and then scan a single TP for PID's?
KEY Menu only , unlike GT Media for example .can you see the CW on a live channel or must you look in the Key Menu for the CW?
buy 2nd Viark or a Cheaper GT Media V8xon the TM I use a remote IR in an area not close to a second TM, but the Viark doesn't have a remote IR what do people do with more than one Viark?
Viark goes into Power Saving Standby Mode if left on and not attended this happens to me all the timeI switch off and unplug the TM's at night - is it a mistake to do the same with the Viark?
many TIA![]()
...got it - thank youQ) is it possible to enter and then scan a single TP for PID's?
A) YES Always has been possible i do it all the time .
...was really meaning how do people with 2 x Viarks stop the remote from changing settings on both Viarks at the same time rather than just the one you might want to change. On the TM I have a remote IR for my main TM which moves the dish and is away from the second TM. Do you simply need to turn the front of the 2nd Viark away from the first so as to not pick up remote signals?Q) on the TM I use a remote IR in an area not close to a second TM, but the Viark doesn't have a remote IR what do people do with more than one Viark?

...so using a 12v 2A PSI from the TM should be just fine (The Viark comes with a 12v 1.5A 18W two-pin Euro PSU)Yes i use a 3 amp PSU from a Dreambox on mine.
I did not have any issues moving my dish and the standard PSU but i know those PSU's are weak.
As long as it physically fits a positive voltage is on the centre pin yes....got it - thank you

Try it to see if it solves your motor issuescentre pin positive voltage = yes
physically fits = yes

I'm using my TM for now for moving the dish, as it's already connected and I know it works very well.Try it to see if it solves your motor issues![]()
Your aware of stream relay channels and what is involved for the box to display those yeah ?I won't go into too much detail here, but I had the Villa game on last night on both my Viark (19.2e) and my official prime sub (official legit prime account).
The prime account (delivered via internet) was about 35 seconds ahead than 19.2e! which shocked me a bit
