THE TRANSPONDER FOR FREE XTV AND JSC SPORT 1TO 10 IN HORTBIRD DOES NOT WORK IN STRONG 4669X. THE TRANSPONDERS ARE 11296H/27500 AND 11414H/27500. THE TRANSPONDERS WORK PERFECTLY WELL IN 4663X IN DELTA STATE NIGERIA. CHECK IT OUT GUYS

after i downloaded the software on 1.58p on srt 4663x my decoder just went dead..the software downloaded previously was 1.57p

I HAVE A STRONG 4663X 157P AND 4669X 110P RECEIVER CONNECTED TO A MICROBOX BUT THE RATE OF FREEZING IS TO MUCH TO HANDLE. I CHANGED TO XCRUIZER AND THE FREEZING STOPPED. MY FEELING IS THAT WE NEED ANOTHER PATCH FOR THE STRONG RECEIVER TO ENABLE IT HANDLE THE NEW MICROBOX DONGLE SYSTEM

I think Joy Sports/TV on Astra 2B (28.2E) transmission is in MPEG-4 format. Therefore you need to have a receiver such as SRT 4669x that can decode such a format in order for you to enjoy Joy sports/tv.

thanks for srt4900_234p,it works very well,
i really like the new "recall" list.
there are 2 problems though one is newly introduced
in the last version(234p) :
-*the clock display in the info bar is a drawback.
it does not display the current time when there is
EPG on a certain program.
instead of displaying the current time,it displays
the start time of the program and the duration. for example,
if a program starts at 3pm for 1 hour,
it displays: 15:00/01:00 the whole time until the end
of the program. it would be nice if it displays
the "current" time/the "remaining" time or at least
there should be an option in the menu to choose
what is to be displayed.
the other problem is old(from 232p and earlier) :
-*there are minor video freezes and audio out of sync
when doing video upscaling,switching 576i to 576p/720p/1080i
or on HD channels switching between 576p to 720p or to 1080i.
choosing "Auto" for video format does not help
with these freezes and out-of-sync audio.
