You need to get your box into HTTP mode to do this you need to have a Ethernet & null modem cable attached.

Connect both cables
Start Patched DreamUP
Tick The Use Network Option.
In the remote box dropdown give it a ip in your routers range.
With the 800 power disconnected press connect.
Power up and look at the 800s screen it should give you a IP and DreamUP should state its in HTTP flashing mode.

Now select the correct image and flash your box.

Mate you can use any DreamUP even with a clone.

Hello friends , i have a Question for FERRET and others,
i have a DM 800HD clone BL #76 and Geimi 5.1 it was working well
but i got some bugs inside to the DM if try to change something
i cant even to flash another image or like that , yes i get inside to dhe Dm but not to flash i try from web browsr and by the null modem cable, what to do please..what to do please any one help how to flash please ..

Does the box show a IP when you try put it into browser flashing mode ?

Yes is showing IP, just not to flash another enigma, i get inside to the Dm by tcm ,i try by the DraemUp but NO, the same..

Try other broswers if the IP is showing it should flash ?

Does the IP shown make scence like 192.168.1.100 ?

Or is it non sense like 10.0.0.0

So you don't get the firmware flash page with the IP the box gives you ?

And you say no connection with dreamup ? What error does it report ?

If you switch on this box now anything showing on the front screen ?

after switch ON, box is restarting and booting normaly , and i look channels and if i try to get inside menu and after i go to anttena settings and i put on diseqc astra and eutelsat 16 but wen i go to hotbird and i give all config to the hot bird after OK i get a screen page and nothing config on hot bird,..
