This would be a good thing..
i Haven't seen any image to date that has this. but would like to see it
if its possible as its not a broadcast signal to the tuner....

I doubt that the Scart input is even wired to do such a thing, so it may not be a feature controllable by image firmware. What I think should be implemented (and I have said this before) is that the Scart OUTPUT should always be sent out as SD (ie 560i) so it can be used with AV sender devices. Currently in all images I've ever seen the Scart just echoes whatever resolution is set by HDMI and therefore if it's 1080i the scart doesn't work.
