Well, so we can know that this release is a beta for all the tester want to help Team OpenATV to built a good software.
Tonight azbox is returned and all the people said is dead, from this weekend they have no words to say!!! Finally there is a team at work :D

Wichtige Infos vorab:


Bekannte Probleme:

* Ixuss zero und Ixuss one keine Tuner Funktion, wird warten hier auf neue Treiber vom Hersteller
* Azbox Images nicht Verfügbar
* Dreambox DM800HD nicht Verfügbar
* Online Flash in der BETA Aktuell noch nicht Aktive folgt bald da wir das jetzt erst einbauen können.
* MyMetrix Skin erst zu 50% Fertig.
* MyMetrix Plugin zur Anpassung des Skins fehlt noch

Wichtig das ist eine BETA Version also ist es möglich das Funktionen noch nicht so Sauber laufen wie man es gerne hätte.

Im Beta Download findet Ihr nun Passend für jede Box ein Entsprechendes Image, wo es noch kein Image gibt müsst Ihr euch gedulden, fragen danach bringt nichts.
Da wir mit den Branding also die Anpassung für die Box Modelle noch nicht fertig sind bitte bei euch drauf Achten ob die Information auch Stimmen ,

also Hersteller Bezeichnungen, Model, Remote Bild im Wizard, Backup und wenn Aktive auch Flash Online Funktion, da wir selber nicht alle Boxen haben benötigen wir hier eurer Hilfe.

Es gibt ein neuen Bereich für das openATV 4.0 Beta Image bitte hier eurer Probleme melden bitte immer mit LOGS und Screens, es kann auch mal länger dauert bist hier einer eine Antwort liefert aber jede Infos hilf uns das Image zu verbessern.

Aufruf Hilfe beim Skinnen , also wir benötige jede Hilfe die es gibt beim Skinnen für die Screens jeder der Mithelfen möchte ist gerne willkommen.

That doesn't guarantee anything!

OpenATV and OpenSPA are HUGE images, bloated to the extreme and poor, old boxes like ours do not handle that very well!

Take the minimal image (OpenPLi > OpenRSI) and enjoy more with less!!!

We are waiting for a good PBNIGMA, which to my mind is the best!

I agree 100% with your words, more or less, I tested mostly all the images came out lately and frankly I see OpenATV
more close to OpenRSI instead of OpenSPA, which I confirm is really heavy, furthermore setting well the flashexpander
you can charge what you want on it and nothing is compromised, but this is just my impression after recent experience.
I am anyway really interested to know more about the limit of OpenATV, even just for the fact that I have
now that on board, but the arrival of a PB image is a real good news, did you hear rumors about that?

Hehehe... I am in the team, as a tester and moderator... We wait...

However, OpenATV is full of unnecessary stuff and hence way too heavy...

I have a larger DOM and it is still very slow and OpenRSI is Speedy Gonzales for it...

All to their own...

Thanks for this good news.
How many time we have to wait for testing it?
Coming back, the OpenATV is not like the other with on board some ...things ...it has nothing on board!
I have to install all the others things by hand!
However, also today, we can play vith a new version of images 3.1 and 4.0 and this one now have less some trouble of the first version.

We don't know about the time for PB, as things keep changing in AZbug yard all the time and not in a good, strategically planned manner, sadly...

OpenATV is loaded with their own stuff, apart from standard tools, extensions etc. Their images are huge, too...

Is it still needed to replace the 863xdvb.ko file in the latest releases?

I think if they know about the problem they should replace the 863xdvb.ko in their nightly builds.

It will be huge, but stable, and untill now did not send the az in perennal booting, as experienced in the past with the other images.
Furthermore, the development is continuos, I see a lot of improvements in last six months reading around (OPenRSI and OPenATV forum...).
When You tested it last time?
