Same thing was also bothering my mind while compiling the softcam. But that has to be like it keeping in view that format of key. I think if oscam tries key for other channel with same SID and it is not working then it should automatically switch to the actual key available in the softcam.
Did you try it first as it is or not? If not tried then do try without modification and see the result and let me know. And if you tried it and it was not working without modification then I am afraid we have to use separate softcam for each package (especially when there are similar SIDs).

Don't forget the oscam-emu can also have a softcam.key file compiled into it, but I assume (maybe wrong??) that the external softcam.key file would have priority...

I have tested this method on my Amiko Alien2 Triple (Spark - sh4) and it is working, but only with a non-proprietary version of pti.ko. Other, private versions do not stream the ecm pid, and do not work. I tested with OpenSPA 4 and OpenATV 5 with an old version of pti.ko. Unfortunately with this version of pti.ko, other than the powervu stream relay method, only FTA channels can be viewed. I only tested on the AFN channels on 9E, all working ok with cpu usage only %10-15.

Here is the oscam-emu binary I compiled (only basic functions - no extra readers or protocols...) and the oscam.server and oscam.conf files I used as well a version of pti.ko working with OpenSPA 4 and OpenATV 5.

So, the stream relay needs a fast CPU. For example, CPU usage on VU+ Duo2 for SD Channel 5% & for HD Channel is 15%. Not every STB is fast enough. So only those receivers will be suitable which have powerfull CPUs, like Vu+ Solo2, Duo2 or Dreambox DM800SE V2 etc.
Just a quick question.
Does the box use those 15% (or more, depending on the box) all the time Oscam is running or only when a PowerVu channel is being watched?

@joeuser
did you try adjusting the "ecm fix delay" setting?
this settings can help if the stream does not include the ecm pid. in this case the ecms are obtained directly from oscam/dvbapi and need to be delayed a bit.

Yes, a little bit, but no luck. I am also not sure that the other pids are being streamed correctly either. If I have time I will try it with tsreader and try to see what is being sent....

Note: I also could only use the non-proprietary pti.ko when using tsreader and powervu emu plugin to connect to receiver on port 8001.

Plz go to post#79 and download document from there and then download file from the link given in that document and try with that version of oscam.

Thank you dear Ghouri
I have a question.
The Oscam file must be copied in the directory you mentioned or it must be installed? (I have Oscam y mod installed at my STB.)

You have to copy it to the bin folder in your installed image (which is located normally as per given path) it is not in installable format so you cannot install it.

How did you patch oscam in order to get option in webif in config - stream relay?
i have basic oscam file in usr/bin and oscam-emu.patch
I tried to patch it from telnet with patch -p0 oscam oscam-emu.patch, started to patch oscam file, but failed to create oscam with error file already exist.
I don't know what i am doing wrong?

One needs to patch source before compiling it. Not the already compiled binary.

Don’t know if this helps in any way but SU-Oscam-SU-179-EMU-296-716-SB-10892-komplett was released yesterday on this forum. It has had support for PowerVU added. Its webif allow Config – Stream Relay – ECM fix delay to be changed when present in an image.

HAVE FUN

Does that mean that I can use this instead my regular 1.20 OScam and use is as regular sharing cccam softcam + PowerVu emulator ?
