iptv proxy

hi, is it possible for the cuberevo 910 to use a proxy?

if yes, what conf file do i need to edit?

on the sif team img for the 910 the is a plugin called web tv, and i have tryed to use the m3u player with no luck.

i know for things like tv ants i need to use a proxy as my isp blocks it.

you would need to check if your router supports a proxy for all trafic...

The 910 itself cant support connecting via a proxy...

Proxy servers can be very slow and may lag the video streams....

i am running dgteam 0848 on my dg834pn i have options to change the dns ect. any help please?

Have you tried with the environment variable http_proxy ? example: "export http_proxy=http://X.X.X.X:8080"

is that in the var/ect folder?

Telnet your ipbox, type "export http_proxy=http://X.X.X.X:YY"
X.X.X.X= IP address of the proxy
YY = Proxy port

and test your player or test with wget command. If your proxy works, put the command line in the startup script because after reboot the variable disappears.
