hi folks - I'm struggling with getting OSCAM successfully loaded onto a gigablue box.
Box is working with a motorised dish - all good, getting signal across the ARC.
When I login to the web interface, I don't see anything relating to OSCAM even though it is installed and appears to be working on the tv, I can't see any files or any options for OSCAM on the web interface.

hi mate, currently on a Mac but managed to ftp to the box and pull the .conf file -

http port is currently set under web to 8888 (but when I type in the box IP) followed by :8888 doesn't seem to work

Settings below in the .conf file

[webif]
httpport = 8002
http_style = 0
In settings (web interface)

I see:
under transcoding setup -> port 8002-9999 the box has 8000 entered in there.

Not sure if this is the issue?

I have found i think with vix that not everything is made available from the download menu either. Sometimes the configs don't seem to be there.

yep - the OSCAM installed was via the vix menu so could be an issue.

thanks bud. do I need to remove the old OSCAM that was installed via the box menu (vix) or just ftp the attachment above
You can also install an ipk via usb stick. If you put the file on a usb stick and put it into a usb slot then there is either an option in the menu system to install local ipk where you select the usb stick or under plugins there is a media scanner plugin that allows the browsing of the usb stick and then install from there. It's just an option or ftp it into the tmp folder and use the ipk installer. It could overwrite some files such as the server file or config file so just make a note of the important things.

May have done something here
root@gblue4k ipkg-cl list > /tmp/ipkg-list.tmp echo >>> DONE <<<<

Ok slight update
Entered the command as per above - got the above confirmation.
Went into box and hit restart OSCAM, get the same error that there is no OSCAM files in the config (even though there are) and all channels were clearing fine.
Says put config files into folder etc (though the main difference now is that the channels aren't clearing)
I've now tried to restart OSCAM and black screens
Wonder if I should install the OSCAM11732 IPK as per above attachment in this thread.

if you install this .ipk file no need to run 2 other commands
I'll give the IPS file an install now, because since I tried to restart OSCAM on the box all channels have gone now ha :D (but it always did say for sure that Oscam isn't configured properly despite channels open)
