the latest sims for the clones are r72 i am not going to put the website were you can get them from on here becuse we have a satellite shop who sponsors our site, but he does have some in stock now.

lol, these posts with "I have a clone, help me" are so funny. :)

I am an accidental clone-owner and I would really like to upgrade the image to the newes nabilosat blackhole 0.11

I want HD-skins, new epg-features etc..

I've tried to install this image before but got stuck on the bootloader-issue.
In the webinterface of the dm800 I can't find what bootloader it's using.

question:

is this method correct:

- install the newest image (dm800 will give boot-error)
- load the scndstage bootloader 69 with a null-modem cable
- reboot dm and all will work fine.

- is there a way to install the scndstage bootloader before installing the new image, via lan instead of null-modem?

It is bootloader 72 as stated in the read me, if you flash the 69 bootloader before it will be erased with the higher bootloader as soon as you flash and you will have to start over again.

Hi for installing image and secondstage botloader separately do I need serial cabel or null modem cabel with pin2,3 crossed?

Null modem cable is needed with Dreamup to load a image although its faster flashing it by the browser method. The second stage ipk can be installed by FTP and then a manual install or by browser if its in nfi format.

You can load a nfi file with a null cable yes mate. But you can also load a nfi file with the broswer method too.

For me and I tried for many many times, is this:

1º - For clones with SS69 you only can put images ( For clones
with ss69)
2º- For clones with ss70 you only can put images ( For clones
with ss70)
3º - If you put an image ss69 (for clones with ss70 ) you could
have problems, like the remote dont work.
4º - For clones with ss69 or ss70 you only have 4 or 5 images.
5º - The best way to put the images is with DCC but you must
know how. Is very simple and it takes about 5 minutes.
6º - With the Dreamup it takes about 1 hour.
7º - With the original ( with ss73) you can put any image.
8º - If you put an image with ss73 in a clone, it will crash
9º - If it crashed is very simple to put it O.K. You need 2
thinks. A nullmodem and a software - the Dreamup.
10º- Connet the nullmodem to Dream. Then ON and then it
will run. Then dont put it OFF and sen the flash. It takes
1 hour.
11º- After this you can make all as you wish.

For barry allen to work you must be running the latest bootloader 72 as it will check this on install and if your not on the latest Barry allen will not install. This goes for genuine 800s and clones.
