Hypercam installation on E2 PKT ver 0.4.0 and Sifteam 9341

I have done a search for help on setting up Hypercam on E2 but didn't find my answer.

1. What is the best version of Hypercam to use on E2 ( bear in mind i want it for cable only ) i have got incubuscamd for the satellite .

2. what is the best way to install to E2, ( ftp, telnet e.t.c )

3. If i have to ftp the files across, what files go in what folders.

P.S also i am after the same info for the latest Sifteam 9341 in flash.

Hypercam doesnt work on e2, you can use camd3 for cable.

Thanks k2k2000, wonder if you can guide me to setting up camd3 for cable then matey ?

I guess i need the config file changed, also do i use same keys/roms as in a dreambox ?
i am with ex-telepest cable. VM

maybe you could PM me with a typical camd3.conf so i can get some idea m8 ?

use default camd3.config from e2 mod pkt.
camd3 d osent auto update for ukcable.
you need to add keys manually to
/var/keys/camd3.keys

there is no var/keys/camd3.keys file
i created one and added the latest keys, still nothing.

ive had hypercam working in NLB image, but cant get it to install properly on latest Sifteam image.

Ive never managed to get cable working at all with E2 , so i hope the developers can look at this and add a working cam for us cable users.

P.S. also i had mgcamd working on flash images too.

hypercam and lnb image

hi all,i have a nlb image on ipbox 9000 hd i've tried for ages to get this working on cable but not having any luck is there any pointers anywhere to give us a clue on where i'm going wrong i suspect its somthing to do with config files but with not a lot of info about(for obvious reasons)i'm not getting very far.thanks

ive now got it working with camd3 , only problem now is that it dont autoupdate, so have to put keys in manually, its not a big issue as it only takes a few seconds but would be better if we had an autoupdating cam

Hypercam will come on sh4 platform sooner or latter.

camd3 works well for now apart for the au :thum:
