Yes mate you need to load the drivers you can do that form the tspanel. On that image you should be able to run original drivers, if the latest dont work try the drivers befoe.

i tried two different ones and nothing changed, did that from tspanel addons sim2 dm800drivers, chosen 2 rebooted even factory reset but still showing tuner a empty, probably new image needed?

tried third link for drivers but in vain. just to make sure im doing this right. tspanel+addons+sim2 drivers+download+restart box end, is this the way? do i have to go to file browser or sth or install device manager or sth? thanks in advance

not sim2 drivers mate original driver
then restart not with blue from menu

If when you have the original drivers install as Benkurd mentioned there is still no tuner just make sure it is seated correctly in it slot mate.

benkurd, how do i know original from not original? are original drivers in tspanel+addons+tunisat plugins or where? someone said i have to ftp drivers manually but then do u know where to send them is it tmp folder? they have to be original drivers for dm800hd ?
and ferret what do u mean slot? folder or cable in tuner firmly? sorry abt this guys

si i just download latest dm800hd drivers and
Unpack and copy then to /lib/modules/2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm800/extra/ is that right?

then addons you have

tunisiasat addon,sim 2 addon,LSK, and sat4fun addon

in all of those addon we have original drivers

update on my tuner A empty problem: install original drivers from tspanel and manually ftp but still empty tuner. install different images by web browser still same problem all is ok except in tuner configuration kept saying TUNER A EMPTY the result is fault in tuner and hav to change it, when i had domica image tuner was fine, after installing MERLIN 3 2011.19.11 RAMIMAHER SSL84A image on it by my mate tuner disappeared, i put domica image again ,as it worked b4, but tuner got faulty, very strange,

had dm800hd with dream elite 76c and put merlin ssl 84 and the result emtpy tuner and had to replace the box so plz be carefull guys when you want to flash your box check what bootloader it is.

You can use ssl84 mate yes, remember you can always go back to 76 also.

i many time change ssl82 to ssl84 and ssl76 to ssl82 never see any problum in my clone dm800hd

No way of telling the sim type because ssl76 was available on all sim versions.

Yes you can mate just make sure you use a prepatched sim 2.01 image.
