World Cup in Brazil?

During last two days first feeds from Brazil appeared at 7E and 10E satellites. Probably there will be many on these sats, but where the original feeds will be? Eutelsat 7E and 10E are not viewable from South America, so they surely use other satellites to send all signals to Europe, from which all feeds are relayed to Eutelsat (maybe from Geneva). Any news about original feeds is appreciated. Maybe in C band? Thanks.

Original feeds will be on Amazonas 1 (61W). But Amazonas 1 is located at the 55.5º West orbital position since 2014 due to an agreement with Intelsat.

Very useful reply, thank you! Reading links that you posted, it seems they will use Ku band, not C band. No idea regarding dish diameter to receive Amazonas 1, I will try with my 2.3m dish and let you know. Thanks.

I do not know where you're living but here is a coverage map of Amazonas 1 at 55,5W. As far as I know, 49 dBW correspond to a dish size of 55-65 cm while 42 dBW correspond to 120-150 cm. It should be possible to receive Amazonas 1 even with a smaller dish than you intend to use.
