my 3020 just goes from boot to on no matter what loader or what upgrade i try to use,it just wont connect and i know the cables are ok.can someone please instruct me what to do or is the box no good any more

after unsuccesfully trying to update my box and run cleaners etc my box now is just stuck at on.I want to know is it possible to connect to a friends box which is ok and transfer the data required to my box and if so how do you do it.failing that i need to get my box back on.please someone help me

is there any reason why a new update for showtime isnt around yet.I know normally one is placed on here roughly 7 to 8 hours after it goes down but it seems to be over 24 hrs currently.would be grateful for any information on how it works.thanks in advance
