Dreambox Multimedia Error! tried everything i think

Hi All

I know this has been discussed hundreds of times but i just wanted to say - i have tried positively everything i have read about and cannot find a solution.

DM800HD clone

Web Flashed then got
"sim 2XX error"

Re-flashed Null Modem cable (Standard dream Up)with another image now get
"Dreambox Multimedia Error!!!"

Tried to Re-Flash with Dreambox now get
"No CA Found 2nd Stage Bootloader"

Tried re-flash with dreamup patched and dreamup repair get message

"file too big"

tried re-flash with Patched dream up using network looks like it working but get same error

"Dreambox Multimedia Error!!"

downloaded yassinov dreambox optiflash

accepts the nfi image but then stops and you have to start again.

is their any other options out their, please any help will be appreciated

turn your receiver off ie remove power cable then connect null modem and ethernet cables open dream up and click on connect,when it says now switch on insert the power cable when you get the ip on the led screen and its in HTTP Mode,put that ip into your web browser and flash it through the flashing software firmware update.

Are you going through that procedure exactly and getting the IP displayed on the 800s screen ?

If you are are you sure the image your flashing is a clone image ?

Got to ask its sometimes the basics that get over looked.

NO SIM2XX FOUND ERROR IN DM 800HD PVR

in my DM 800HD error occurs as under

NO SIM 2XX FOUND

1st error was NO CA FOUND

it has been resolved by NCF tools
after then its appear on screen

kindly help in this matter

Why don't you try flashing your receiver with older versions of dream up :

I had once this trouble,so you have to open the case and check the card holder,because the sim card is not touching enough the bord.use some glue to fix it and try it.

last resort i heated up mine with hair dryer it came to life while it was hot but same after.
defiantly the mother board

use patched dream up first, connected with a -0- modem cable.
If Dream 800 appears, together with the flashbuttom just flash
Your ssl(sim2.01 #84b) to Your machine.

disconnect the power, reconnect with pressed on/off buttom until
the sim, ssl and the IP shows up in the Display.
Open the Internet Explorer, put in Your shown IP an start.
Now load the correct Image (sim and ssl) and flash ( some times you have to do it 2x,3x).

Thats it!

I had this problem, and followed all the steps mentioned by the friends on this forum.
You need to be methodical and persistant.
If the steps did not work the 1st time do not give up.
It becomes a challenge!

Just leave the box unplugged for some time, go for a meal or cup of hot coffee.
Try the steps again but with both the serial and the LAN cables connected.
You should at some stage get an IP address.
Use an older image to solve the tuner not found problem.
Once the box is up and running make a back-up of the working image with your setup.
You can now intall a USB and experiment using the external flash.

Drem Multimedia -->error! *ERR01: NO CA FOUND

Hi,
After hours of searching I decided to ask for help.Flashed my dm800hd pvr with wrong image and now Im getting this error message:
"Dream Multimedia -->error! *ERR01: NO CA FOUND"
Tried dream up using rs232 to USB cable but no luck.It finds the port and connects but when I turn the box on nothing happens.I get the same message on the box no matter what I do.
I have opened the box to check the sim card but it seems ok.
Should I just recycle the box?

is your box an original or a clone if its a clone you need to know what sim is inside it so you can reflash the correct image

It's clone and the sim 2.10.
The problem is I cannot flash the box because of the error message.

sell it on ebay as it is, you get more or less same price as a working receiver
