Totally agree. It would also have been good if it had the three tuner slots which the Ultimo had giving you an extra degree of flexibility when configuring your tuners.

It is even more disappointing considering Venton managed to have pluggable DVB-C/DVB-T2 tuners on their range of Enigma2 receivers which are half the price of the Duo2.

However, you should still be able to use a USB DVB-T2 tuner (290e nanoStick) to get any T2 channels.

Having said that if the drivers all work well then it should be a fantastic bit of kit for satellite fans.

my opinion for the best receiver in scene is no expensive money, years ago when out dm 8000 for 1000 euro

other theme is no all people have chance to pay this money

this is a luxes receiver

Solo 2; There are Broadcom 7356 chipset. Processor speed, 1300 Mhz. DMIPS.


These chipset, what coefficient DMIPS ?

Broadcom official web no info.

If need to predict;

7356, 7424 and 7358 techology of 40 nm.

7358a real 750 DMIPS and coefficient DMIPS 1,5

750 / 1,5 = 500 Mhz. (Real Mhz.)

for 7356 and 7424, coefficient DMIPS 2 might look like.

Duo2 and Solo2, will 650 Mhz. really.

Just asking...Does the TFT Screen on the duo show also the tv picture....I mean what's showing on the TV is also simultaneously shown on the TFT screen? Or can be made to through the Plugin in.

the answer was ...No.. lcd is very slow update rate seems to be 5 seconds.
