Hi Bozomustafa i installed the software on my skybox f3 and it says mismatch error my chip is 3601 of the box is it a problem with the software just incase i am asking thanks

Openbox x5 usb upgrade problem

Could somebody please help! I have Openbox x5 receiver but recently I installed a new firmware and the receiver now comes on and off and would not boot. I have tried all the method advised in this forum to no avail. I downloaded KD_P9000E_HD.bin file and place file on my formated fat32 pen drive then plug it to usb socket of the receiver and turned on receiver whilst holding the ok button, receiver turned on and load but this showed on the screen 'S/W upgrade by usb using bootloader'

Open file fail!

I have tried this again and again with different downloaded firmware with KD_P9000E_HD.bin and it has been the same. Please help.

Super firmware, but I have problems with subtitles in recordings, when I record as TS format All subtitles are in the stream, which I have confirmed by playing the file on my PC, but the when playing the recording on the Openbox it states "no subtitles" its the same whether its a HD channel with DVB subtitles or a SD channel with teletext subtitles.
(I'm mainly using sat 1West). It would be super nice if this could be fixed.

Can someone please help me out. my openbox x5 hangs on updating new s/w on flash. its stuck on 100% and wont go any further. please direct me to a good s/w!
