Hi cobra1423, format ok usb no hdd, after ipk file loads first thing I get is lots package errors (shows as no architecture I think)then get unpacking files. Leave till end DONE message around 10 minutes then use Finish. If do not reboot here then picture will show after another 5 or 6 minutes. Switch off-on then image starts to load then screen goes blank with red led flashing - went for shower came back and still blank.

Loading V00.2 just now to check system and will try V00.3 again and post actual package error messages I get at second step in next 1/2 hour or so.

Update V00.3 - error message as I remembered above - ie

di4p.jpg

leave till complete & DONE message and around another 8 minutes bbc1 loaded ok.

Switch off box and back on and image starting to load as seen on dm display - red led flashing - spidey on screen - dm display now blank - led flashing - spidey on screen - waiting...... will leave for 10 minutes to see what happens......

Update - nothing happens - back to old image me thinks..

Yeah I'm having the same problem, normally there is cccam.cfg file in /etc. I can't seem to find that anywhere. I have tried it in cccamd.list still no luck.

getting CCcam_2.3.0 cam to work

ok this is how its done rename the cam just like this CCcam.cfg in the usr/keys folder put in your C: cccamservice.com 12000 test1 test2 and save it
next make sure your CCcam_2.3.0.emu in etc folder has this info

emuname = CCcam 2.3.0
binname = CCcam_2.3.0
startcam = /usr/bin/CCcam_2.3.0 -t -C /usr/keys/CCcam.cfg
stopcam = killall -9 CCcam_2.3.0

next stop the cam mgcamd1.35a with the red button first then select CCcam 2.3.0
and then green to restart do a full restart job done.

wee tip if you get nothing try closing the gap on your c line ie, C:cccamservice.com
and not C: cccamservice.com then full restart
hope this will help you out

ok lets see first use dcc FTP go into etc/init.d folder and right click on autofs then view scroll down to line 662 and see if it has this mount /dev/sdb1 /media/usb
if you don't see that right click on autofs then edit and put it in then save looks like this.
661 esac
662 mount /dev/sdb1 /media/usb
663
664 exit 0

then restart it should kick into life

Hi Cobra,

This image looks great!

Sorry to bother you again. I tried fixing it myself so I thought I'll delete cccam and reinstall it. However how do I install CCCAM. Can't do it via tspanel or plugins menu.

Thanks

Hi again cobra... line 662 was blank - put in as above and now showing bbc1 - now going to shutdown and restart ....... image now starting to load ... unfortunately same result ... LED display bar gets to about 25% then stops and after couple minutes led flashes and thats it.. trying again .. same result..

If I have time in next couple days will try another dm800hd just to see what happens (PS i have also tried different usb sticks with same result)

Thanks for your help - hopefully we can get it up and running later.. :thum::thum:
