how to get updates sky uk card

My card updates no problem with oscam thnxs to guli he help me long time ago to configure oscam ive now got my cron tab script running so i can allow my mgcamd box to constantly send emm's to card so its always updating and in my opinion i think its much better to use oscam its much better at updating than CCcam/Newcs ever did .

SKY UK update problem

Hi,

I wanna update my skyuk full hd white card 963 through ubuntu 10.04 LTS and omnikey card

reader. Added an n line to my mgcam 135a using DM 800HD file. My card has been active for

two days and there hasn't been any signs of update.

My OSCAM version that I'm using is OSCAM 1.00-svn build #3379.

Hope someone can help me aswell, I'm currently running a server using oscam on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with an OmniKey on a PC. I have this server linked to a linux server hosted in germany running just CCcam. The C Lines supplied to my clients are created on the germany server by creating an F Line in the CCcam.cfg file.

My card in the omnikey has never auto-updated I have always had to insert it in it's original sly box to take the updates, also very recently I have started to experience glitching when viewing. Is there anything I can adjust on my Oscam settings to hopefully allow the Card to AU and also to get rid of the glitching?

Sky UK card update

Hello,

i need few info about sky card update, when i open socam web info i have message " expire date 2012-12-11 ", but card does not work, do i have to keep it in sky1 channel during the night and on what else do i have to check.In oscam log i have this message

Your card is probably blocked and you need t5o change it. It happend on a lot of cards this month. Mine even stoped in original box and i heard that some new cards that were never even used are also blocked.

you can see your entitlements by opening the web browser & entering the box ip with the webif port .

oscam with cccam will only show your card as local ( hop0 ) with 2.1.3 or earlier versions . cccam 2.1.3 is the better option .

make sure the config directory has 755 attribute & the 3 oscam files in that directory have attribute 644

oscam will only read your card & forward it via the N line to CCcam . you then give C lines to your peers as usual .

any changes to configs in oscam will take effect upon restart of oscam
there are many other settings that you can have but this is a basic setting to get going .

now restart your cam hopefully all should be ok .

Thanks for your help above, it is clearing some channels except for sports and movies
I have read about boxkey etc but i dont see it in the configs above, i thought they didnt need to be used?
I have updated ecm whitelist aswell to rule that out.
There is a message popping up on screen also that reads
