petegib, if your image has original DMM drivers (which I would expect), then there is no problem to use script in short mode, which means:
- you don't have to modify lamedb
- you'll have sound on HD
- you'll have subtitles
Of course there are some prerequisites like dvbsnoop installed and operational Webinterface.

I have Dreambox 800se and Dream Elite 4.0 (not newest from yesterday ).
1) Is that OpenPli image is only image to get Audio on HD channels?
2) Is really possible to get subtitles on SD and HD channels with short mode?

I've been asking if anyone can help with setting up my 800SE clone. I guess the first questing is does it matter which image I use, it is implied that after reading many posts that the only that will work with both 28.2E CCcam and 27.5W OSCam is OpenPli 4.0 later than 28-2-14 (for HD audio)
There are many posts from many people claiming it can be done while other just say 'change the box for Technomate'
I have tried to follow many threads but to no avail.
My original question was can it be done?
I have a 2 dish setup, one on 28.2E which I am able to watch the full package and the other on 27.5W which after a scan I picked up all the channels but due to the Biss encryption I an unable to see anything.
On 27.5 I have a good signal and a lock. My neighbour on the same shared system already has both up and running using the Dreambox for the 28.2 and Technomate for the 27.5 channels which although this works it is far from ideal, switching boxes instead of changing over the channel.
I wondered if anyone has this working with a 2 dish or motorised set up.
If anyone has achieved this and can help with a basic guide where to put what files and what image to use, I along with many others would be very grateful

Hi I have OScam running v 9553 on centos6 64bit, Yes it reads constant cw files without any mods almost got it working but still trying to get config right to reshare can get cccam to connect and picks up caid 2600 so theres the start but having a few problems actulie clearing anything, because its not picking up provider id's I think can anyone help?

So it means that only we can succed with PLi image? And as PLi doesn`t suport 800SE V.2 we cann`t get this channels with this box? And also with 800HD because this model cann`t get the channels because the FEC...? No one has succeded with another image?
You mean in an ORIGINAL ( not clone) dreambox? That image works in 800SE V.2? Thanks:thum:
