Hi guys i have a VU+ Solo2 and would like to run the BISS stuff on it for 27.5 i have read this thread but i am not technically minded and cannot make head not tail of this is there someone who can help me out with this please. I can flash my box and do a little messing around with it but this has me stumped.. thanks again

You may have to use the OpenPLI image as this appears to be the only one that can open this package up with the aid of Oscam_y_mod, there is a massive thread on the official forum on how its done

Thanks for your hint. I have OpenPli 4.0 on my main receiver (Xtrend ET5000) and will try it out later on.

I've been away for a while.I guess from what you are saying that I can watch 28,2 & 27.5 on my dreambox DM800SE.
The first question is do I need to use OpenPli image and if so can you recommend one that works. At the moment i'm using am olds Rami image (2011) ssl84.

I already using a cccam for 28.2e with a 2.2.1 cam and wanted to also add the biss keys for 27.5w
I have both satellites working and have a lock on 27.5W with a good 70%+ SNR using DiSEqC in simple mode. I have been able to scan and install the channels but now need to install the keys etc
Any help with the installation would be very much appreciated.

The Biss keys for CCcam you have to put them in usr/keys/constant.cw...
A neighbour has the system working using a Technomate for the 27.5 and Dreambox for 28.2.
I just wanted to use my existing Dreambox for both.
the box (as said above) has a lock on both satellites and has good snr on channels on both.
I just not sure how to set up the box and which image i need?
