Before You Flash Your Clone

I have a clone DM800HD with ssl82 (verified on boot up) and what I thought was Sim 2.01. However I checked in the box and the Sim fitted shows SIM210. So what image for a clone with this sim and ssl? I did flash NabiloBlackHole_DM800_012 for clone.nfi but that caused a 'No CA Found' error aaarh. I am now waiting for a null modem to come so I can re-flash direct via the com port, but which image would be best to try?

Thanks Ferret, so long as I pick a patched Sim 2.01 ssl82 image I should be fine then. Recovery of the box in progress tonight. Wish me luck!

An important advice before flashing your box.
Take a backup of the existing flash image and your satellite and channels setup.
The latter is done through the image itself (you will need a hard drive or a USB).​

DREAMBOX 800 CLONE

I have a dreambox 800 clone with sim 2 bl76. Can I download image sim2 or sim 2.01 bl 82 or 84? Thank you

Yes you can install a 82 or 84b image no problem, 82 images will just flash as a normal image with nothing else to do.

84b images will first require you to flash the 84 ssl first followed by the 84b image.

The 800se has faster CPU more memory and 2 card readers, it also has a colour front display.

800-image do`nt work on 800se box
and 800se do`nt work on 800
ssl is impordent, so you must know what sim is inside!!!
