There isn't a Satellite at 3°E, if you are talking about Telecom 2A (3°E) feeds posted over at satelliweb.com, read the comments, there list of Satellites hasn't been updated so when people post info about feeds on Astra 1C/1D at 1.8°E & 2°E, they use the old Telecom 2A (3°E) and post 2°E in the info or comments.
Both Satellites are inclined orbit as well.

Hopefully someone will confirm but I believe the centre of the footprint is further right now (than above) so less UK coverage.
And quite a lot of feeds use 4:2:2 which isn't available with a lot of receiver combinations.
