Asking here but there are no idea about autoroll biss function
in hd receivers or dvb s/w plugin

YEAH SOME BOX CAN BE AUTOROLL OR UPDATE BISS ENCRYPTION AUTOMATICLLY

gets the keys from a server,if they have them.
Sometimes works,other times not.

The only way possible is to connect to a server to download new keys when they are posted or found.
Biss has not autoroll provisions,since key for a program never change over satellite.

fortunately the keys for some sats are good for others.
Unfortunately sports biss wildfeeds are usually 4:2;2 video.

On biss channel wait 10 second until channel open

Someone should check what server it connects to.

Is not really autoroll,in the way described.
The receiver itself doesn't have any provision in itself to find the new key.
It relies on a server that keeps a database and matches,if available, the request from the receiver and send it.
I am sure in some feeds can be an easy task,but can also be a headache with so many feeds using sane name,same sid,same pmt,same video pid,the server can simply send the wrong key.


Why someone finds out if tuning a channel or feed where the key has not ever been made public to see if it "rolls"

These receivers are autoroll on PowerVu and Biss. Just be with the latest update. Places the locked channel and waits a few minutes for the key to be updated.
