deleting channals

Hi
Im still new to the linox syste m(my first time).. im having a problem deleting the unwanted channals ,,,the thing is after i delet them on my labtop and write back to the UNO ,,,,they come back after a while .
Any suggestions .
(the Image im using is black hole 1.7.7
Should i install a newer image .

Thanks ...But what are the newer images which is beter to install .

just installed bh 2.0.4 ...cant find any thing to disable the Background scanning...where can i find that in the menu ...HHHHeeeeeelp.

Ok..is there versions from OpenPLI..which one should i install..and after that where should i find the background scanning to din the system isable it
