deleting channals

Im still new to the linox syste m(my first time).. im having a problem deleting the unwanted channals ,,,the thing is after i delet them on my labtop and write back to the UNO ,,,,they come back after a while .
Any suggestions .
(the Image im using is black hole 1.7.7
Should i install a newer image .

Old image mate on the newer images there is a feature to disable background scanning.

Background scanning is what's replacing the channels you delete.

Background scanning does not effect user bouquets just the mian satellite list.

Why not try Blackhole 2.0.4 or OpenPLI 3

just installed bh 2.0.4 ...cant find any thing to disable the Background scanning...where can i find that in the menu ...HHHHeeeeeelp.

Mate apologies just sold my Duo so I can not check. I know the option is 100% there in OpenPLI.

When my duo2 arrive ill let you know about Blackhole.
