Oscam-emu can calculate the DCWs, but atm it cannot handle the DES decryption. The DES.dll/CSA.dll part is missing, and it is not easy to do that on enigma2 receivers. Also, it will only work on receivers with very fast CPU.

Oscam have to work or we been fool. I agree 100% with JimBizkit

Listen if you read this thread you should k ow, Oscam-patch was the first free independent form IRD code release. There where some success stories. Then Anubis_Ir broght vplug success. He said code came from original Oscam-patch!!

So patch has to work.

The problem we are seen is becouse reports are not been done giving full test enviroment. I strongly sugest people start providing not only the method used, but providig channel, bird and transponder beem test and the IRD or PC Card model used.

Then we will be in a better position as to inform what re receiver has proven been as suscess.

Can Alt DVB be installed on any drive if I change config file or does it have to be on drive 'E'?

I have a dvd writer as my 'E' drive so would have to change that if I can.

for those who just started please read this post
http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=1234679&postcount=340

all is in there

regards

I have run the install program to get the Alt DVB Star edition on my E:\ drive and that was OK, However, after part of the install it asks for a location to install MPEG-2 decoders setup files? What location do I select for these files (it is asking to install the MPEG-2 decoders setup files on C:\Program Files (x86) Do I need to change this?

Another point, do I need to disable my Anti Virus when installing Star Edition II, my Anti Virus says is has quarantined a Trojan file?

Last point, you said:
and copy this file PowerVu.mdl here
E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Plugins\Av0\vPlug\vModules

When I do my install on my E:\drive, I do not have the folders like this
E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Plugins\Av0\vplug

I have all of the vplug files in the Av0 folder, there is no sub folder? Can I copy the PowerVu.mdl into the Av0 folder where the other vplug files are located?

Thx for any help
