Best Box is the Dm7020-SI ( for SD Channels )
Best Box for SD and HD channels is the DM 8000 REV 2.
With the correct Card ( or Keys ) it open every channel you want.

Forget the 800HD this has been over taken with the 500HD with a much more powerful processor and far more Memory, the only thing missing is USB slots, but a simple Mod and you can install a USB port yourslf, Who relay needs USB when you can hook up an 1TB + external esata Hard Drive and Network it for easy file swooping Movies, Music & general files etc.
Do not consider an 800HD until the 800HD-se comes out late this year early next year, it will be a far superior than the present model.
The Vu+ Duo and the Soon to be released solo still cost more than the dreambox 500HD @ 319 euro for something the same as the Vu+ Solo the Dream is better Value with better support.
If Dream Elite Image on the Vu+ is anything like it is on 500HD this is a good reason to stay with the Dreambox and use Images commissioned be Dream-Multimedia as some of these 3rd party Images are turning into a joke with Upgraded Images popping up every few weeks with very few fixes.
Stay with Dream, there are whispers Cccam are to pull off a Gemini type of Bomb / disruption of none conformity on clone and receivers not associated financially with the Cccam team.

My opinion...for start - 500S its a good, but if you have more money you are can buy other models by dream and vu duo...and other
