Which of the first 3 second stages in .ipk for DM8000, posted by juli13, should I use for OoZooN in flash in my DM8000. It still has 83-r0 second stage. That´s probably the reason Barry Allen in USB doesn´t work with images second stage 84-r0 there (when booting from image in USB to image in flash BA hangs).

In DM500 HD I have Nemesis 090 in flash. Before updating the image online to 092 it´s recommended to flash the SS84, released by Nemesis (in .nfi format) first. This way I lose all the settings there. Would it be the same if I first installed SS84 for DM500 HD in .ipk format and then updated to 092 online?

Do a online update in OoZooN and you get SS84...

Question, did you loose all the settings when you did a online update with EDG Nemesis? I'm on SVN 91 and thinking of update to 92, a backup before is necessary I think...

Doing online update in OoZooN doesn´t update you anything (0 packages). Went to OoZooN site and found out that none of their latest images have SS84, only 83 or 82 (the newest for DM800 SE from a few days ago has SS82).

No, doing online update in Nemesis you don´t lose anything.

Install the first attach file http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=823580&postcount=29, it's a ipk format file.

Or you can choose the nfi format installing using browser.

Is the same thing, you choose.

Thank you juli13. So I´m going to install .ipk format in DM500 HD. Installing .nfi via web is like installing an image, right? I guess it deletes the current image and you have to install it again from the start. Installing in .ipk you don´t loose anything. Isn´t it so?

You can install via web interface and it will not effect your image at all, it does not delete it and will work as before.
