weird problem.

Hello everyone,
I have big problem with my dm 800 hd (original)
every dag after I turn off my dm about the night, I can not start DM both remote and front button again
To turn on the DM again, i must use power connector what is the problem???

Does the remote still work for changing channels etc ? If it does then it may be hardware fault the button itself.

Still worth trying another image before condemning it.

Confusing how the front button and the remote will not put it into standby.

Do the menu - shut down options work ?

There is a ribbion cable form font panel to the mobo just make sure that is pushed home fully mate.

Yes menu- shut down it works without problem.

Edit: Never mind, the remote and front button seems to work from shutdown on my box. I never tried before, I "assumed" it shouldn't work... DOH!

How do you shutdown and start yours again DM? you must use remote or front button, but I dont know why i kan not start DM both remote and front button again?

The only time I actually shutdown is when I need to remove the power & open up the case, or I go on vacation. Otherwise I just use "standby". I tested on my OpenPLi 800hd and both the front button & the remote appear to wake the box after a "shutdown", which actually surprised me, hence my edited post above.
