Wathcing iplayer / geo blocking

Just flashed my amiko 8900 with atv all good but wondering is there anyway when useing iplayer bbc/itv etc that i can watch these? being across the water its geo blocked,i know on my pc there are a couple of things i can use but unsure in this instance..

you can use a vpn- openatv supports openvpn, rename your *.ovpn file to Client.conf and ftp to /etc/openvpn/
